Motorola has brought the Signature to Indonesia as a new flagship aimed squarely at the premium segment. The device stands out not only for its high-end positioning, but also for a camera system centered on 50 MP sensors and a telephoto setup that reaches 100x Super Zoom Pro.
The phone had previously been introduced at CES 2026, and its arrival in Indonesia signals Motorola’s more aggressive move into the upper tier of the market. Beyond raw specifications, the Signature is being presented as a device that blends design, durability, and color accuracy in a single package.
Premium materials with a focus on durability
Motorola offers the Signature in two Pantone-based color options: Pantone Martini Olive and Pantone Carbon. The Martini Olive version uses a twill-like finish, while Pantone Carbon comes with a linen-like texture that gives the phone a distinct visual identity.
That premium appearance is paired with protection standards more commonly associated with rugged devices. Motorola equips the phone with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front, and IP68 plus IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
A large display built for brightness and color fidelity
On the front, the Signature uses a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. The display offers a resolution of 2,780 x 1,264 pixels and a peak brightness level of up to 6,200 nits, making it suitable for use in a wide range of lighting conditions.
Motorola also adds Pantone Color and SkinTone validation to the screen. For multimedia use, the panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, which should help improve video playback and gaming visuals with better contrast and more realistic color output.
Flagship performance with modern internal hardware
Under the hood, the device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Motorola pairs it with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 internal storage to support fast response times, heavy multitasking, and demanding applications.
A fingerprint sensor is placed under the display with an ultrasonic design, keeping the front side clean while still offering convenient biometric access. This arrangement matches the phone’s overall premium positioning and streamlined design approach.
The camera system is the main attraction
The most prominent feature of the Motorola Signature is its rear camera setup, which includes three 50 MP cameras. The main camera uses a Sony LYTIA 828 sensor, joined by a 50 MP ultrawide camera and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera.
The telephoto unit supports 3x optical zoom and up to 100x Super Zoom Pro. On the front, Motorola includes a 50 MP selfie camera with a Sony LYTIA 500 sensor, which is said to help preserve color consistency between the subject and the background.
Video capture also receives strong attention. The Signature supports up to 8K Dolby Vision recording at 30 fps, along with Horizon Lock for more stable footage when shooting while moving.
Battery life and charging options
Power comes from a 5,200 mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Motorola says can last up to 52 hours under standard use. For charging, the phone supports 90W TurboPower wired charging and 50W wireless charging, giving users flexibility depending on how they prefer to top up the battery.
Motorola also adds Instagram-specific optimization so that photos and videos uploaded through the app remain clear. That detail suggests the company is not focusing only on benchmark numbers, but also on everyday social media use.
Price and long-term support in Indonesia
In Indonesia, the Motorola Signature comes with software updates and security patches for up to 7 years. The phone goes on sale with a regular price of Rp 12.999.000, while the launch price is set at Rp 11.999.000.
Motorola also says each unit comes with additional benefits worth Rp 2 million. With its mix of premium materials, advanced display tech, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 performance, and a 50 MP camera system with 100x zoom, the Signature is positioned as one of the more serious flagship options now available in Indonesia.
