Motorola’s next clamshell foldable has surfaced early, and the leaked retailer listing leaves little room for guesswork. The device appears as the Motorola Razr 70, with detailed renders, core specifications, and even pricing already visible before any formal announcement.
The listing also suggests that the Razr 70 is part of a broader lineup rather than a standalone model. In North America, the same device is expected to be sold under the Razr 2026 name, reinforcing the idea that Motorola is preparing different branding for different markets.
Display setup aims for a premium foldable experience
The most prominent hardware detail is the main screen. According to the leak, the Razr 70 uses a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 2,640 x 1,080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
That combination points to a focus on smooth scrolling and fluid animation, which remains important on a foldable device built for frequent opening and closing. The cover display is also well specified, arriving as a 3.6-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,056 x 1,066 and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Motorola is said to push brightness as well, with the outer screen reaching a local peak of 1,700 nits. The cover panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, a detail that matters on a clamshell phone where the exterior display is more exposed to scratches and impact.
Performance and software details are already visible
Under the hood, the listing points to MediaTek’s Dimensity 7450X as the main chipset. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a configuration that suggests Motorola is not treating this foldable as a design-only product.
The software side is just as notable. The Razr 70 is listed with Android 16 and Motorola’s Hello UI, which places it on a newer software base than many devices in the foldable segment.
Battery capacity stands out for a thin foldable
One of the most attention-grabbing specifications is the battery. The Razr 70 is reported to carry a 4,800 mAh cell, a large figure for a slim clamshell foldable.
Charging support is listed at 30W wired and 15W wireless. For a device that has to fit a folding mechanism, display hardware, and internal components into a compact body, that battery capacity is one of the clearest selling points in the leak.
Cameras and body protection round out the package
The camera setup follows a dual-rear layout. Motorola is said to include a 50MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a 50MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
For selfies and video calls, the leak mentions a 32MP front camera with an f/2.4 aperture. That arrangement indicates that the Razr 70 is being positioned not only as a stylish foldable, but also as a device with flexible imaging options.
Physical details are also part of the listing. When opened, the phone measures 171.30 x 73.99 x 7.25 mm, and when folded it becomes 88.08 x 73.99 x 15.85 mm. Weight is listed at 188 grams, while IP48 certification suggests a level of protection against particles and splashes.
Colors and early pricing have already appeared
Motorola is reportedly planning four color options for the Razr 70: gray, green, pink, and white. That range gives the foldable a more lifestyle-oriented appeal, which fits the Razr family’s design-focused identity.
The Ukrainian retailer listing places the phone at UAH 36,999. With so many details already exposed ahead of launch, the Razr 70 looks close to a public debut, although all of these specifications should still be treated as pre-release information until Motorola confirms them directly.
