OPPO has opened early pre-orders in Indonesia for its two newest flagships, the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s. The move gives consumers an earlier path to secure the devices before the official local release schedule is announced.
The early pre-order process is available through the official OPPO Indonesia website and uses a down payment scheme. During this period, OPPO is also offering bonuses of up to Rp9 million for purchases of the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s, along with several other benefits that have not yet been fully detailed.
Early access arrives before the official launch
The opening of pre-orders comes as part of the wider rollout of the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s beyond China. Both phones were launched in China on Tuesday (21/4), while OPPO Indonesia has not yet confirmed when they will officially go on sale in the country.
According to OPPO Indonesia Chief Marketing Officer Jiang Linlin, the early pre-order program is meant to give Indonesian consumers the chance to be among the first to experience the new devices. The scheme also allows prospective buyers to reserve units ahead of regular sales.
Find X9 Ultra focuses on the top tier
Among the two, the Find X9 Ultra is positioned as the most premium model. Its strongest selling point is the camera setup, which features four rear cameras developed in collaboration with Hasselblad.
The main camera uses a 200MP Sony LYT-901 sensor with OIS. OPPO also includes a 200MP OmniVision OV52A periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, a 50MP Samsung JNL telephoto camera with up to 10x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with an LYT-600 sensor.
For selfies, the phone carries a 50MP front camera with autofocus. This arrangement shows OPPO’s emphasis on flexibility, whether for close-up shots or distant subjects.
The display is also built for flagship use. The Find X9 Ultra comes with a 6.82-inch AMOLED LTPO panel, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 3,600 nits peak brightness level, and a 3168 x 1440-pixel resolution. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Power comes from a 7,000mAh battery, supported by 50W wireless charging and 100W wired charging. The device runs on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and is available in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB memory variants.
Find X9s offers a smaller but still high-end option
The Find X9s is designed as the more compact choice, but OPPO still equips it with specifications that remain high for its class. It uses three rear cameras, consisting of a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus.
On the front, the device carries a 32MP selfie camera. Its display measures 6.59 inches and uses an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution of 2760 x 1256 pixels, while Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen.
The Find X9s runs on MediaTek Dimensity 9500s and comes in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB memory configurations. It is aimed at users who want a smaller flagship without giving up core premium features.
Prices in other markets hint at the positioning
In China, the Find X9 Ultra starts at CNY 7,499, or around Rp18.4 million. The available color options are Earth Tundra, Polar Glacier, and Velvet Sand Canyon.
The Find X9s is sold in Malaysia from MYR 3,599, or around Rp15.6 million. Its color choices include Midnight Grey, Lavender Sky, and Sunset Orange.
With pre-orders already underway in Indonesia, attention now shifts to OPPO’s next announcement on the official release date and the final local offer details. Until that happens, the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s remain two of the most closely watched additions to OPPO’s flagship lineup for the Indonesian market.
