HONOR has pushed back against rumors that it is preparing to exit the Indonesian market. Rather than stepping away, the company said it is lining up new devices and strengthening the groundwork behind its business in Indonesia.
The brand’s recent lower profile in public view does not signal a shutdown. HONOR said the quieter phase reflects a period of internal preparation, including product curation and support readiness before new devices are introduced.
Long-term commitment remains in place
HONOR Indonesia’s Head of Public Relations, Aryo Meidianto Aji, said the company still holds a long-term commitment to Indonesia. He explained that the lack of frequent public activity should not be read as a sign that operations have slowed down or stopped.
According to Aryo, the current approach is centered on a more careful setup behind the scenes. HONOR wants to make sure its products, services, and after-sales systems are ready before expanding its presence again in the local market.
New devices are already being prepared
While rumors circulated, HONOR has been preparing several new products for the Indonesian market. One of the highlights is the HONOR Pad X8b, a tablet designed with special attention to child safety and controlled use.
The tablet runs a clean operating system with minimal ad interruptions. HONOR also includes an integrated Kids Mode so parents can provide a more supervised digital experience for children.
In addition to the tablet, HONOR is also preparing another flagship device that is targeted to arrive before the end of the second quarter. This suggests the company is aiming to rebuild its position in Indonesia through products that match local user needs.
After-sales service is part of the plan
HONOR’s strategy is not limited to launching new hardware. The company is also placing strong emphasis on after-sales support as part of its expansion plan in Indonesia.
That focus matters because consumer expectations now go beyond specifications alone. Buyers increasingly consider service quality, product durability, and daily comfort of use when choosing a device.
For HONOR, these factors are treated as equally important as the devices themselves. The company’s current preparation appears designed to ensure customers receive better support once the new products reach the market.
Existing models show the business is still active
Before more device announcements arrive, HONOR has already introduced the HONOR X6c and HONOR X7d in the market. Both smartphones are positioned around physical durability as a key selling point.
That durability is intended to offer stronger protection against impacts and exposure to water in everyday use. Their presence shows that HONOR continues to maintain business activity in Indonesia, especially in the segment that values practical and resilient devices.
Official updates are being directed to HONOR channels
HONOR has asked the public to follow its official channels, including social media, for the latest information. The company uses those outlets to share accurate details about specifications and release schedules directly.
With new launches being prepared and business activity still moving forward, the message from HONOR is straightforward. The company is not leaving Indonesia and is instead preparing a new phase of expansion through devices that are expected to reinforce its standing in the local market.
