Xiaomi 17T Pro Leak Puts 144Hz Display, 7,000 mAh Battery, and 999 Euros in Focus

The latest leaks around Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro suggest that the two phones are being positioned with a much wider gap than their shared name might imply. Rather than relying on small cosmetic differences, Xiaomi appears to be separating them through display size, battery capacity, charging speed, and the main camera sensor.

Dealabs, as quoted in the report, points to a clear premium split between the regular model and the Pro variant. That separation is also reflected in storage choices, where the standard version offers more flexibility, while the Pro model leans toward a single high-end configuration.

Different performance tiers

Xiaomi 17T is said to run on MediaTek Dimensity 8500 “Ultra” paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options reportedly include 256 GB and 512 GB, both using UFS 4.1.

Xiaomi 17T Pro, meanwhile, is tipped to carry the Dimensity 9500, which sits higher in the lineup. It also comes with 12 GB of RAM, but only one storage option is mentioned: 512 GB.

The display may be one of the clearest differences

The regular Xiaomi 17T is reportedly equipped with a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel. It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution of 1268 x 2756 pixels.

The Pro model steps up to a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1280 x 2772 resolution. That combination makes the Pro version look better suited for smoother scrolling and more demanding gaming use.

Battery size and charging also separate the models

Battery capacity appears to be another major divider. Xiaomi 17T is said to include a 6,500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

Xiaomi 17T Pro goes further with a 7,000 mAh battery, 100W wired charging, and 50W fast wireless charging. If the leak proves accurate, the Pro model would not only last longer on paper but also offer a more complete charging package.

Camera hardware follows the same pattern

On the rear, Xiaomi 17T is reportedly built around a 50 MP Light Fusion 800 main camera with an f/1.77 aperture. It is joined by a 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and a 12 MP ultrawide lens, while the front camera is said to be 32 MP.

Xiaomi 17T Pro keeps the same supporting camera setup, but replaces the main sensor with a 50 MP Light Fusion 950 unit with an f/1.74 aperture. That suggests Xiaomi is reserving the more notable imaging upgrade for the Pro version rather than overhauling the entire camera system.

Software and pricing complete the picture

Both phones are expected to launch with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. That would place the Xiaomi 17T series on a very recent software platform from the start.

Pricing leaks from Dealabs list the Xiaomi 17T 12 GB + 256 GB at 749 euros, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro 12 GB + 512 GB is said to cost 999 euros. Reported color options include blue, black, and purple, and the gap in price appears to match the larger differences in screen, battery, charging, and camera hardware.
