Motorola’s Moto G37 is shaping up as another affordable 5G option, but the device is drawing attention for more than just its connectivity. The phone combines MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with RAM Boost that pushes total memory to 12 GB, while also keeping features that are often removed from modern midrange phones.
That includes a 3.5 mm audio jack, a detail that may still matter for users who prefer wired headsets and do not want to rely on adapters or wireless accessories. For everyday use, Motorola is positioning the Moto G37 as a practical handset with a larger display, steady performance, and a battery built for long hours.
Large screen with a smooth refresh rate
The Moto G37 uses a 6.67-inch LCD panel with Full HD Plus resolution. Motorola also equips it with a 120 Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling, menu navigation, and video playback feel smoother in daily use.
To strengthen the display side, the front panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. That layer is intended to help the screen better handle routine use, especially against minor scratches and light bumps.
Audio remains a notable advantage
Sound is one of the phone’s more distinctive points in its class. The Moto G37 features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, which is expected to create a wider audio output when watching movies or listening to music.
The continued presence of the 3.5 mm headphone jack adds another layer of flexibility. For users who still own wired earbuds or headphones, this remains a useful feature in a market where many phones no longer include it.
Dimensity 6300 and memory expansion
Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 built on a 6 nm process. The chip can reach up to 2.4 GHz and is aimed at maintaining stable everyday performance rather than chasing flagship-level numbers.
Motorola pairs it with 4 GB of LPDDR4X physical RAM. Through RAM Boost, that memory can be expanded to a total of 12 GB, which should help when several apps are open at the same time or when switching between tasks quickly.
Storage options are also varied, with 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB versions mentioned. If that is not enough, the phone supports microSD expansion of up to 1 TB.
Cameras and battery for daily use
On the camera side, the Moto G37 carries a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. Motorola also includes PDAF, which is meant to improve focus speed and accuracy in different shooting conditions.
At the front, there is an 8 MP selfie camera placed inside a punch-hole design. The setup is aimed at standard selfie and video call needs, which remain common uses for smartphones in this segment.
Power comes from a 5,200 mAh battery. That capacity suggests the device is designed to support extended daily activity without requiring frequent charging.
Software and durability features
The phone runs Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UX interface. Motorola describes the interface as clean and lightweight, which points to a simple and easy-to-understand software experience.
Durability is also part of the package. The Moto G37 carries an IP64 rating for splash resistance and an MIL-STD-810H standard, indicating a design prepared for tougher everyday conditions.
Price is still unclear
Motorola has not revealed the official global price of the Moto G37. The only reference available is the Moto G35 5G, which was sold in Europe starting from Rp 4 jutaan.
Based on that comparison, the Moto G37 is expected to cost about 25 percent more, although there is still no confirmation on final pricing or whether the phone will arrive in Indonesia.
