Nothing is set to make July 7 a busy launch day, with the company confirming the arrival of Ear 3a alongside Phone 4b. The most eye-catching detail so far is the earbuds’ four-color lineup, which includes black, white, yellow, and pink.
That range matters because Ear 3a is positioned as the more affordable version of Nothing Ear 3. With multiple colors available from day one, Nothing appears to be leaning heavily on design as a selling point in the budget audio segment.
Four colors from the start
The confirmed color options are not especially surprising for long-time observers of the brand. Black, white, yellow, and pink match the palette previously seen on Nothing Headphone A, suggesting a familiar visual direction across the company’s product lineup.
Nothing announced the launch in a post on X and said the event will begin at 11:00 AM BST, or 6:00 AM ET. The company has not revealed pricing in that announcement, although earlier leaks pointed to a €99 starting point in Europe.
If that figure proves accurate, Ear 3a would land at the same price as Nothing Ear A when it debuted in Europe. Ear A launched at €99 in Europe and $99 in the US, making it a useful reference point for how aggressively Nothing may be targeting the entry-level earbuds market.
Phone 4b enters the same launch window
Ear 3a is not coming alone, as Nothing has also lined up Phone 4b for the same July 7 event. The company even said the video in the Ear 3a announcement was shot on Nothing Phone 4b, turning the earbuds reveal into a quiet preview of the new phone.
Nothing has already shown the phone’s design, including dual rear cameras and a vertical Glyph interface. The visual approach is said to follow the direction of Phone 4a, keeping the brand’s emphasis on a distinctive look intact.
Four colors for Phone 4b are also rumored
Color talk has not stopped at the earbuds. Abhishek Yadav posted on X that Phone 4b will also come in four color choices, with three regular variants and one special edition.
That special edition has not been explained in detail yet, so the final look remains unknown. Even so, the pattern would fit Nothing’s habit of using design variation to separate its products from the rest of the market.
Early specs suggest a midrange focus
Several leaks have also outlined the likely hardware inside Phone 4b. The phone is said to use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
The display is expected to be a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Camera and battery claims have also surfaced, with a 50MP rear main camera and a 5,400mAh battery among the reported specifications.
| Leaked Phone 4b detail | Reported information |
|---|---|
| Chipset | Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 |
| Memory | 8GB RAM |
| Storage | Up to 256GB |
| Display | 6.7-inch AMOLED, 120Hz |
| Main rear camera | 50MP |
| Battery | 5,400mAh |
None of those specs have been officially confirmed yet, but they place the phone squarely in the midrange category. Combined with the Glyph design and the rumored color expansion, Phone 4b looks intended to keep Nothing’s visual identity front and center.
For now, the only details officially locked in are the July 7 launch date and the four colors for Ear 3a. The rest, including the earbuds’ final price and the full shape of Phone 4b’s special edition, should become clearer when Nothing’s launch event begins.
