Samsung is giving the Galaxy Book 6 a very different role in the workplace by launching an Enterprise Edition aimed at IT control, security, and large-scale deployment. Rather than changing the laptop’s exterior, Samsung is adding the tools companies usually need when they buy devices for an entire organization.
The move also makes the Galaxy Book 6 Enterprise Edition the first Samsung laptop positioned specifically for the enterprise segment. Samsung keeps much of the hardware familiar, but the added management and security layers are meant to make the device more suitable for corporate purchasing and day-to-day administration.
Business features built for IT teams
One of the most important changes is the processor platform. While the consumer version uses Intel Core Ultra Series 3, the Enterprise Edition comes with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 with Intel vPro support.
That detail matters in business environments because Intel vPro is closely tied to fleet management, security, and deployment across many devices. Samsung is also adding several customization options for companies that want centralized setup and cleaner device tracking.
Those options include custom OS imaging, BIOS configuration, logo adjustments, asset tagging, and support for Windows Autopilot. Together, they make the laptop easier to prepare in bulk and easier for IT teams to manage once it enters service.
Security pushed to enterprise standards
Samsung says the Galaxy Book 6 Enterprise Edition meets National Institute of Standards and Technology, or NIST, requirements for platform integrity and firmware resilience. That places the device in a more serious security category than the regular consumer model.
The laptop also includes a discrete Trusted Platform Module, or dTPM. Samsung says this component supports cryptographic functions, including the secure creation and storage of keys, which helps strengthen protection at both the hardware and software levels.
For companies with internal security rules or compliance demands, those additions are significant. Instead of relying only on software-based protection, Samsung is building security into the system foundation, including firmware and dedicated security hardware.
Same core device, different target
Outside the enterprise additions, Samsung says the rest of the specifications remain the same as the standard Galaxy Book 6. That means the company is not presenting a completely new machine, but a more business-ready version of an existing one.
The Galaxy Book 6 Enterprise Edition will be sold in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. The two options give businesses flexibility, whether they prioritize portability or want a larger display for everyday office work.
Samsung has not revealed pricing for the model. It also plans to offer the device in selected markets starting in April 2026, which suggests the company is still focused on positioning the product for enterprise customers rather than competing through an early pricing announcement.
The package of Intel vPro, Windows Autopilot support, custom imaging, BIOS and branding options, NIST compliance, and dTPM gives the Galaxy Book 6 Enterprise Edition a clearer role in Samsung’s laptop lineup. It is a familiar device on the surface, but one that is now tuned much more closely to the needs of corporate IT.
