A familiar benchmark chart has been shaken up, and the biggest surprise is how decisively the midrange segment is now leaning toward MediaTek-powered devices. In the latest AnTuTu April 2026 ranking, iQOO Z11 climbed to the top with 2,323,047 points, pushing several OPPO Reno models and POCO X8 Pro into an increasingly tight race behind it.
The new lineup makes one trend hard to miss: the midrange class is no longer dominated by a single brand, but by a cluster of devices built around Dimensity chips. The top 10 is filled with models using Dimensity 8500, Dimensity 8400-Max, and Dimensity 8450, even as the flagship class in the same period is led more heavily by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
iQOO Z11 sets the pace
iQOO Z11 does more than win on benchmark points. The device pairs the Dimensity 8500 with up to 16 GB of RAM and a Blue Ocean 9,020 mAh battery, which iQOO says is the largest battery capacity in its history.
Despite that large battery, the phone still keeps a relatively slim 8.25 mm body thanks to silicon anode technology. It also supports 90W fast charging and reverse charging, allowing the phone to act like a power bank when needed.
For China, iQOO prices the Z11 at 2,299 yuan for the 8GB/256GB version. The top 16GB/512GB variant is listed at 3,399 yuan.
A stronger showing for OPPO and other midrange rivals
OPPO is one of the most visible names in this month’s chart. Two OPPO Reno15 models take fourth and fifth place, both powered by Dimensity 8400-Max, while OPPO Reno14 Pro also enters the top 10 at number 10.
That spread gives OPPO a broad presence across the ranking. With Reno15, Reno14 Pro, K15 Pro, and K13 Turbo 5G all appearing in the top tier, the brand has one of the most consistent performances in the midrange performance segment.
Just ahead of the Reno pair sits OPPO K15 Pro in third place with 2,156,817 points. Honor Power 2 follows in second with 2,206,038 points, keeping the contest close at the very top.
POCO X8 Pro brings global relevance
Another device drawing attention is REDMI Turbo 5, which lands in sixth place with 2,053,009 points. The phone was previously exclusive to China before reaching global markets, including Indonesia, under the POCO X8 Pro name.
That naming shift matters because it makes the ranking more relevant beyond China. The commercial badge can change, but the performance base remains the key point for users tracking fast midrange phones.
Specs behind the result
The iQOO Z11 in China runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6. Its chipset is the 4 nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500, paired with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU.
The display uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. It also supports 1B colors, 2160Hz PWM, HDR, 1,000 nits brightness, 2,000 nits HBM, and 5,000 nits peak brightness, with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels.
Camera hardware includes a 50 MP main camera with OIS and PDAF, plus a secondary sensor. On the front, the phone uses a 16 MP selfie camera, while memory options range from 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM with 256 GB or 512 GB of storage.
Why the ranking should be read carefully
The April 2026 AnTuTu list applies to devices launched in China, so global versions do not always match the same specifications. The clearest example is iQOO Z11 itself, because the China version uses Dimensity 8500 while the global iQOO Z11 with model number I2512 has been confirmed with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 for launches in Malaysia and Indonesia.
That difference means the benchmark chart is best treated as a snapshot of each market version, not a universal result for every phone carrying the same name. For buyers following the midrange segment closely, the latest ranking still shows one clear message: MediaTek has taken a commanding position at the top end of the class.
