ASUS is pushing its premium laptop line toward a more self-contained kind of AI, with on-device processing taking a more central role in the user experience. The clearest sign of that shift is Omni Virtual Assistant, which can run offline and keep working without a constant internet connection.
That approach is paired with a stronger security angle, since data does not always need to travel over the network. ASUS is also bringing new laptops with Copilot+ PC status, aimed at users who want faster, more efficient, and more personal AI-assisted work.
AI becomes the main feature, not an extra
The latest ASUS laptops use two modern processor families: Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen™ AI 400 series. Both are designed with NPU performance of up to 50 TOPS to support faster AI-based workflows.
ASUS Indonesia describes this direction as part of its effort to deliver more personal and safer local AI technology. Lenny Lin, Country Manager ASUS Indonesia, said the innovation is intended to provide maximum efficiency without compromise for users.
Omni Virtual Assistant sits at the center of that strategy. Its offline capability makes the assistant more than a connected service, because it can still handle processing even when the device is not online.
Zenbook DUO stands out in the new lineup
Among the models introduced, Zenbook DUO (UX8407AA) is the most attention-grabbing. ASUS positions it as a multitasking device with a 70% reduction in the gap between its two screens compared with the previous generation.
The laptop uses Ceraluminum™ material, which ASUS says is 3x stronger and 30% lighter than conventional material. It also carries two 3K ASUS Lumina Pro OLED 144Hz touch displays with 1,000 nits of brightness.
For performance, Zenbook DUO relies on the Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 386H and reaches total AI performance of up to 180 platform TOPS. Its official price in Indonesia is Rp54.999.000,-.
Thin options for mobility and daily work
ASUS is also targeting users who need slimmer machines for professional use. Zenbook S14 and S16 OLED are presented as compact options, each measuring just 1.1 cm thick.
Despite the thin design, both models come with a battery capacity of up to 83Wh. That gives the lineup a more mobile profile without moving away from the AI-first direction ASUS is highlighting.
For everyday productivity, Vivobook S14 and Vivobook 14 Flip are offered as more flexible choices. ASUS says both can deliver more than 20 hours of battery life, making them suitable for longer work sessions without frequent charging.
Warranty and services are part of the package
ASUS is backing the new lineup with a substantial after-sales package. Every purchase includes a 3-year international warranty, 3-year ASUS VIP Perfect Warranty for accidental damage, and ASUS Premium Service.
The Premium Service package covers FastLane priority queue access and Laptop Spa professional cleaning. That support adds a long-term ownership layer to a lineup that is otherwise focused on AI performance and mobility.
