Android 16 Powers iQOO Z11 Lite, But Its Aging Chipset Keeps The Focus On Affordability

A new Geekbench listing has offered the earliest clear look at iQOO Z11 Lite, and the most interesting part is not the chipset. The device is already shown running Android 16, which gives the budget-oriented model a surprisingly current software profile.

The benchmark listing points to a phone built for affordable 5G rather than headline performance. Its results are modest, but they are consistent with the kind of hardware usually chosen to keep costs under control while still covering everyday use.

What Geekbench reveals

The device appears under model number I2510 on Geekbench. It posted 549 in single-core testing and 1,776 in multi-core, numbers that sit far below flagship territory.

Geekbench also shows an octa-core processor with two cores clocked at 2.40GHz and six cores at 2.00GHz. The same listing includes a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which strongly points to MediaTek Dimensity 6300 as the underlying chip.

That combination suggests iQOO is not targeting raw speed here. The more likely goal is to keep the phone accessible while still delivering enough performance for routine tasks and 5G connectivity.

Android 16 stands out

The software side is where iQOO Z11 Lite looks more up to date than its hardware. Android 16 appears in the Geekbench data, making the phone seem unusually fresh for its segment.

RAM 8GB is also listed alongside the software version. On paper, that gives the phone a fairly modern baseline even though the core platform remains familiar and budget-focused.

Signs of a nearing launch

Geekbench is not the only place where the device has surfaced. It previously appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database, where the iQOO Z11 Lite name was confirmed together with support for 44W wired fast charging.

The same model also showed up on BIS certification in India. That is a strong hint that India is one of the intended markets for the phone.

Multiple appearances across certification and benchmark databases usually mean a device is moving closer to an official unveiling. iQOO Z11 Lite now fits that pattern, even though the company has not shared a launch date yet.

A familiar chip strategy

One notable detail is that the phone seems to reuse the same chipset found in its predecessor. iQOO Z10 Lite 5G also used MediaTek Dimensity 6300, so the new model does not appear to be chasing a major performance upgrade.

That makes the rest of the package more important. Software, memory, and charging support are likely to carry more weight than a new processor generation in shaping the phone’s appeal.

Pricing is also likely to stay in familiar territory. iQOO Z10 Lite launched at Rs 9,999, and the presence of a similar chip in iQOO Z11 Lite suggests the new model may remain close to that level, although the final price has not been announced.

For now, the clearest picture is of a low-cost 5G phone taking a practical approach. It brings Android 16, 8GB of RAM, and 44W wired charging into a device that still appears to rely on a familiar MediaTek platform.
