Dunkin’ is lining up a multi-day celebration for National Donut Day, with free donuts, a tote bag giveaway, and the return of its collaboration with Stoney Clover Lane. The brand said the promotion begins with a limited-time tote bag offer on June 1 and continues through National Donut Day on Friday, June 5.
The headline perk is simple: guests can get a free donut with any beverage purchase at participating Dunkin’ locations on June 5, marking the 16th year of the offer. Dunkin’ is also bringing back the Dunkin’ x Stoney Clover Lane collection after last year’s collaboration sold out, adding a retail angle to the holiday.
What Dunkin’ is offering for National Donut Day
Dunkin’ said guests who buy a half dozen donuts or more on June 1 at participating locations can receive a free Dunkin’-branded tote bag, while supplies last. The company said the tote offer is available only on the same receipt and does not apply to delivery platforms.
On National Donut Day itself, the chain will again give away one free donut with any beverage purchase. The offer applies at participating locations and remains available while supplies last.
Stoney Clover Lane collaboration returns with new items
The Dunkin’ x Stoney Clover Lane partnership returns with a larger limited-edition collection inspired by Dunkin’ donuts, iced coffee, and Refreshers. The lineup includes bags, pouches, charms, patches, and drinkware, with prices ranging from $6.99 to $98 depending on the item.
Available beginning June 5 at 10 a.m. ET, the collection will be sold on Stoney Clover Lane’s website and in select retail stores. Dunkin’ said select merch will also be available for a limited time at participating locations in early June, while supplies last.
The online and retail collection includes an Iced Coffee Crossbody Bag for $98, a Donuts Small Pouch for $98, and a Donut Pouch for $88. It also includes smaller accessories such as the Donut, MUNCHKINS®, Iced Coffee and Refreshers Bag Charms priced from $58 to $68, along with patches starting at $18.
What fans can find at the New York City takeover
Dunkin’ and Stoney Clover Lane will mark the launch with a one-day takeover at the Stoney Clover Lane store in New York City on June 5. The store, located at 376 Bleeker Street, will offer the new collection alongside Dunkin’ donuts and beverages, plus giveaways and photo opportunities.
The collaboration also reaches Dunkin’ stores with limited-time accessories, including a Mini Donut Patch Bag Charm for $15, Acrylic for $16.99, Stainless-Steel Tumblers for $24.99, Straw Toppers for $6.99, and Cup Sleeves for $6.99. Dunkin’ said availability varies by location.
A holiday built around Dunkin’s donut legacy
Dunkin’ framed the campaign as part of its long-standing connection to donut culture. Jill Nelson, chief marketing officer at Dunkin’, said National Donut Day is “one of our favorite traditions,” and said this year’s celebration is designed to give guests more ways to take part.
The company, founded in 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts, says it serves more than 2 billion donuts and MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats each year. Stoney Clover Lane co-founders Kendall Glazer and Libby Glazer said the response to last year’s collaboration pushed the brand to return with “even bigger” and “even sweeter” designs.
