The CMA Fest is back on television for fans who missed the June event in Nashville. A new three-hour special will give viewers another chance to catch major country performances without making the trip to Nissan Stadium.
The broadcast is set for Thursday, June 25, with ABC airing the special at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. Central. It will also be available to stream on Hulu and Fubo the following day.
What fans can expect
This year’s CMA Fest features a lineup that includes Lainey Wilson, Blake Shelton, Ella Langley, Tim McGraw and Cody Johnson. The event is hosted by Riley Green and Good Morning America co-host Lara Spencer.
CMA Fest has been a Nashville staple since the 1970s and regularly draws about 90,000 fans to the city. The televised special is aimed at giving country music fans a way to experience the weekend highlights after the live event has already wrapped.
For viewers looking for the easiest way in, the televised version offers both a live ABC broadcast and next-day streaming on two platforms. That makes the special one of the more accessible ways to catch the festival’s biggest names from home.
