Pokémon X Target Collection Lands Today, Over 100 Nostalgic Items Spread Across Two Drops

Pokémon has launched a limited-time collaboration with Target to mark 30 years of the franchise, and the collection is available now in stores. Online availability begins tomorrow, May 3, 2026, while a second product drop is scheduled for June 6, 2026.

The lineup spans more than 100 items across apparel, accessories, beauty, home, food, and other categories. The release brings together nostalgic design and everyday merchandise in a way that connects longtime fans with newer audiences.

What the Pokémon x Target collection includes

Several items stand out in the first wave of the collection. Target shoppers can look for a Pokémon Starter jacket, binder-inspired Trapper Keepers, kickballs designed with different Poké Ball patterns, Butterfree hair clips, and 151-piece puzzles that reflect the original Kanto region.

The collaboration also features products tied to brands with strong retro appeal. Mead, Caboodles, Lip Smacker, and Starter are among the names included, which gives the collection a familiar feel for fans who grew up with these products.

Why the release is drawing attention

The collection is built around the anniversary celebration and leans heavily into nostalgia. Pokémon described the partnership as a way to honor its history while offering new items across several lifestyle categories.

That mix may help the release stand out beyond traditional fan merchandise. With clothing, beauty, school-style items, and home goods all in one launch, the collection gives shoppers multiple ways to engage with the brand.

Pokémon GO bonuses tied to Target

The collaboration also includes in-store activity for Pokémon GO players. From May 2, 2026, to July 31, 2026, players can visit Target stores to take part in event-themed Timed Research.

There is also a gift card bonus for players who redeem a Pokémon GO gift card from Target retail stores or target.com. Those redemptions will come with an in-game avatar item, adding a digital perk to the physical product launch.

With the first wave already rolling out and another drop set for June 6, 2026, the Pokémon x Target collection is positioned as a broad anniversary release that combines collectible appeal, nostalgic branding, and game-related extras for fans across shopping and gaming.
