A subtle redesign may still stand out The iPhone 18 Pro may keep a familiar overall shape, but Apple is expected to make a few visual changes. One of the most noticeable could be a new flagship color after Cosmic Orange on iPhone 17 Pro. Leakers have described the new finish as a mix of burgundy, coffee, and deep purple, while others have called it deep red or dark cherry. There may also be a space gray or black option, which would appeal to buyers who wanted a darker Pro model this year. Apple is also expected to make the back glass more color-aligned with the aluminum, creating a more seamless look than the current two-tone design. On top of that, the Dynamic Island is rumored to shrink by about 35%, giving the display more usable space. Those changes may not be dramatic on their own, but combined with the camera and battery upgrades, they could make iPhone 18 Pro feel like a much more meaningful step forward than a typical annual update.
