Casio Shrinks Its Darkest G-Shock Collaboration Yet, Rels B Gets a More Compact Stage Piece

Casio is preparing a new G-Shock collaboration with Spanish rapper Rels B, and this time the focus shifts to a smaller form factor. The GM-S2110B-8ARLSB is set to launch on 18 June and brings the brand’s octagonal design into a darker, more compact package.

The new model stands out because it moves away from the larger full-metal approach used in the pair’s earlier GM-2110 project. Instead, Casio is using the GM-S2110 platform, which is designed to sit more comfortably on slimmer wrists while keeping the familiar CasiOak-inspired silhouette.

A darker case with custom collaboration details

The GM-S2110B-8ARLSB uses an all-dark finish and a brushed metal bezel, giving the watch a uniform and understated appearance. Its overall shape still follows the octagonal profile associated with the GA-2100 family, but the darker execution makes it feel more aggressive than the standard version.

The most visible collaboration-specific detail appears on the caseback, where Casio has added engraved Rels B and G-Shock logos together with artwork inspired by the artist’s concert imagery. A Spanish-language video also points to a theme linked to “de sus conciertos,” reinforcing the live-performance angle behind the design.

Why Rels B is central to the model name

Rels B is the stage name of Daniel Heredia Vidal, a rapper and producer from Palma de Mallorca. He is also known as Skinny Flakk, which helps explain the “ARLSB” suffix used in the watch’s model code.

That personal connection goes beyond the naming convention. Casio is also including a custom aluminium flight case with Rels B branding, giving the collaboration a more premium presentation than a regular retail release.

From the previous GM-2110 to a smaller S-series build

This is not the first time Rels B has worked with G-Shock. He previously served as a G-Shock ambassador for the GM-2110 launch, a full-metal model that combined a polished look with toughness and arrived in five colour options.

The biggest difference between the two projects is the construction. The new GM-S2110B-8ARLSB belongs to the smaller S-series, uses a resin strap, and is positioned as a more compact alternative to the bracelet-style metal build of the GM-2110.

Price details remain open for now

Casio has not yet announced an official price for the GM-S2110B-8ARLSB. The standard GM-S2110B-8A typically sells for around €130-150 in Europe.

With the added engraving and custom aluminium packaging, the collaboration version is expected to cost more than the regular model. For now, the clearest message from Casio is the direction of the watch itself: darker, smaller, and more personal, while still preserving the octagonal identity that defines the line.
