PTPN IV PalmCo has emerged as the most active company in supporting Indonesia’s smallholder oil palm replanting program, or PSR, according to the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency. The scale of its field support has placed it ahead of other companies involved in the same national effort.The agency’s Acting Head of the Upstream Fund Distribution Division, Dwi Nuswantara, said PalmCo ranks first with 6,672 hectares under assistance. Sinar Mas follows with 4,426 hectares, while Asian Agri is listed at 3,204 hectares.Why the company stands outPalmCo’s position reflects more than a large number on paper.
