Instead of chasing only thinner hardware, the company has added a 7,000mAh battery and support for an external telephoto lens, two features that immediately separate it from many rivals. The move matters because foldable phones often force buyers to compromise on battery life or camera flexibility. Vivo says the X Fold 6 will also receive a global launch, although it has not shared the schedule yet. Inside, the X Fold 6 uses an 8.02-inch OLED foldable display with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and Samsung M14 technology. Vivo has not said whether the panel uses the same “zero-feel crease” approach found on the OPPO Find N6. The hinge is rated for 600,000 folds, and the cover display uses upgraded nanocrystal glass protection. Together, those details suggest Vivo is trying to balance a larger battery and stronger camera hardware with practical durability.
