Infinix’s HOT 70 Series is moving closer to an official launch in Indonesia, with two key regulatory approvals already in place. The lineup has appeared in postel certification and has also secured TKDN approval, clearing a major path toward local availability.
That matters for the entry-level market, where Infinix is preparing a package built around aggressive specifications at an accessible price point. Before reaching Indonesia, the series had already been introduced in Bangladesh, where it was positioned for buyers looking for higher-end features without a heavy price tag.
Two 4G LTE models have been listed
The certification documents identify two models, X6895 and X6895B. Both are tied to the Infinix HOT 70 Series and are listed with 4G LTE connectivity.
The appearance of two separate models suggests that Infinix is preparing a broader rollout for the lineup. However, the documents do not explain any differences in specifications between the two devices.
Local approval has already been secured
Postel certification from the Ministry of Communication and Digital shows the device is already registered for the Indonesian market. This is one of the main steps required before a phone can be sold officially in the country.
Infinix has also met local manufacturing requirements through TKDN certification from the Ministry of Industry. The two identified devices carry a TKDN value of 35.75 percent, which is above the minimum threshold for official sales in Indonesia.
Aiming at the affordable segment
Infinix has long been active in the budget smartphone segment, and the HOT 70 Series appears to continue that strategy. Local assembly is also an important factor in helping the company keep pricing competitive.
That combination of regulatory compliance and cost control gives Infinix more room to offer appealing features in a price-sensitive market. It also strengthens the company’s position in the crowded cheap smartphone category.
Large display, fast refresh rate, and big battery
On the hardware side, the HOT 70 Series uses a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. That kind of panel usually stands out for smoother scrolling, gaming, and video playback.
The phone is powered by the Helio G100 Ultimate chipset. Infinix says the chip is designed to support stable everyday use, including multitasking and entertainment, while maintaining performance over the long term.
Battery life is another major selling point. The HOT 70 Series comes with a 6,000mAh battery and 45W fast charging, a combination that is especially attractive in the entry-level segment.
AI features at a lower price point
Infinix has also added AI-based features to the HOT 70 Series. Among them are One-Tap AI Flash Memo and Folax Music Recognition.
These additions are meant to make daily use more efficient. They also show that features once more common in higher-end phones are now being brought into a more affordable class.
Pricing remains highly competitive
The global price range for the HOT 70 Series is said to be equivalent to Rp2 jutaan to Rp3 jutaan. That puts the device in a bracket that could appeal to buyers wanting a noticeable upgrade without spending too much.
With certifications already in hand, the series appears to be nearing its official Indonesian debut. If it arrives with the same package seen elsewhere, the HOT 70 Series could become a serious new contender in the entry-level 4G market.
