BRI Non-KUR Loan Starts at Rp146,000 a Month, What the Installment Simulation Shows

For borrowers who do not fit Indonesia’s subsidized KUR scheme, BRI’s non-KUR loan option is drawing attention for a much simpler reason: the monthly installment can start at Rp146 ribu. That lowest figure appears in the simulation for a Rp5 juta loan with a 60-month tenor.

The offer stands out because it gives access to funding without the subsidy structure attached to KUR. BRI provides this non-KUR facility with a loan range from Rp5 juta to Rp250 juta and repayment terms of up to 60 months.

What the installment simulations show

The lightest monthly payment in the available simulation is tied to the smallest loan amount and the longest term. At Rp5 juta with a 60-month tenor, the installment is Rp146 ribu.

Shorter tenors push the monthly bill higher. For Rp5 juta, the installment is Rp476 ribu at 12 months, Rp269 ribu at 24 months, and Rp203 ribu at 36 months.

The same pattern appears at higher loan amounts. A Rp10 juta loan is listed at Rp952 ribu for 12 months, Rp539 ribu for 24 months, Rp402 ribu for 36 months, and Rp299.600 for 60 months.

Loan amount and tenor comparison

Loan Amount 12 months 24 months 36 months 60 months
Rp5 juta Rp476 ribu Rp269 ribu Rp203 ribu Rp146 ribu
Rp10 juta Rp952 ribu Rp539 ribu Rp402 ribu Rp299.600
Rp15 juta Rp1.439.000 Rp805 ribu Rp605 ribu Rp446 ribu
Rp20 juta Rp1.904.000 Rp1.025.000 Rp806 ribu Rp598 ribu

At Rp15 juta, the installment reaches Rp1.439.000 for 12 months, then drops to Rp805 ribu for 24 months, Rp605 ribu for 36 months, and Rp446 ribu for 60 months. For Rp20 juta, the figures are Rp1.904.000, Rp1.025.000, Rp806 ribu, and Rp598 ribu across the same tenors.

Why the product still attracts interest

The appeal of the non-KUR scheme lies in its flexibility. It can serve borrowers who need extra funds but do not meet the special criteria usually required for a subsidized KUR loan.

Another factor is the wider funding range. With a ceiling of Rp250 juta, the product can cover needs that go beyond small borrowing requests.

The difference from KUR is mainly in the pricing structure. KUR benefits from government subsidy support, while non-KUR follows commercial bank interest rules, so the repayment simulation is governed by the product’s own terms.

For borrowers, the most practical step is to match the loan amount with repayment ability. Longer tenors reduce monthly installments, while shorter tenors raise them but finish the debt faster.

Among the currently listed figures, the Rp5 juta option over 60 months remains the lowest monthly burden at Rp146 ribu. That makes the term structure an important consideration for anyone comparing installment levels before applying.
