A Strong Entry-Level Challenge Emerges, 120Hz Display and 6,500mAh Battery Lead the Way

Vivo is pushing its Y11d Series into the entry-level segment with a package that tries to look more complete than the usual budget phone. The headline features are easy to spot: a 120 Hz display, a 50 MP main camera, and a 6,500 mAh battery.

That combination gives the device a clear sales pitch for users who want more than basic affordability. Vivo also adds AI-based features to support study, work, entertainment, and social media use.

Battery life is one of the strongest selling points

The largest battery advantage comes from the 6,500 mAh capacity, which Vivo designed to support all-day use. The company says the battery can handle video playback for up to 29 hours.

That capacity also gives the phone more room for streaming, light gaming, and everyday productivity without frequent charging. To reduce downtime, Vivo includes 44W FlashCharge, with a full charge claimed in about 80 minutes.

Vivo also uses BlueVolt Battery technology on the Y11d Series. The company says this system can maintain battery performance for up to 1,600 charging cycles and provide a lifespan of up to five years.

A smoother display aims at daily comfort

On the front, the Y11d Series uses a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD panel. The size gives users a broad viewing area for watching videos, reading, and browsing social feeds.

The display supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, which should make animations, scrolling, and touch response feel smoother than on standard screens. Vivo also says the panel can reach 1,200 nits of brightness.

That brightness level is meant to improve visibility outdoors. For eye comfort during long sessions, the device also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.

A 50 MP camera sits at the center of imaging

Vivo equips the Y11d Series with a dual rear camera setup. The arrangement includes a 50 MP main camera and a 0.08 MP auxiliary sensor.

The main camera is designed to produce better detail and more natural background blur. The secondary sensor supports depth processing so portrait shots can look cleaner and more organized.

Vivo says the main camera is also tuned to deliver brighter results, especially in low light. AI-based image processing then helps balance color, contrast, and sharpness in the final photo.

AI features go beyond photos

The phone also includes AI Photo Enhance, which automatically improves detail and sharpness in images. Vivo positions the feature for users who want cleaner results without complicated editing.

AI Documents is included as well, helping scanned documents appear clearer and easier to read. That makes the phone more practical for light study or work tasks.

Vivo also adds AI Creation to refine photos and text so the output looks more appealing and structured. The goal is to make the Y11d Series useful beyond entertainment alone.

Built for more than just specs

Durability is another part of the pitch. Vivo says the Y11d Series uses a special cushioning structure, a metal frame, and shock-absorbing design elements to improve protection during everyday use.

The device also carries SGS certification and Military-Grade Durability certification. Together with the large battery, fast charging, 120 Hz display, and 50 MP camera, the Y11d Series is shaped as a more ambitious entry-level option.

It is clearly aimed at users who want a low-cost phone that still offers a fuller set of features for daily life.
