Honor X7e is drawing attention in the entry-level segment for one reason that is hard to ignore: a 7,500 mAh battery. In Malaysia, the phone is priced at 899 Malaysian ringgit, or about Rp 4 million, placing it in a bracket where battery life can become the deciding factor for many buyers.
The device was introduced quietly in Malaysia, but its combination of endurance-focused hardware and practical features makes it stand out. Honor says the battery can last for up to 31.7 hours of video playback on a single charge, which reinforces its position as a phone built around long use rather than flashy extras.
Battery life takes center stage
The 7,500 mAh capacity is the clearest differentiator in a crowded market where many affordable phones still rely on standard battery sizes. Honor pairs that large cell with 45W fast charging, aiming to reduce the wait time when the battery eventually needs to be refilled.
Honor also says the battery is designed to handle up to 1,000 charging cycles. The company claims its durability can remain strong for roughly six years, highlighting a long-term approach that goes beyond daily use alone.
Core specs beyond endurance
Honor X7e does not rely solely on its battery to make an impression. It uses a 6.6-inch LCD display with HD Plus resolution and supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
For performance, the phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset. That processor is matched with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, giving the device a fairly roomy setup for an entry-level model.
Camera and everyday features
On the back, Honor equips the X7e with a 50 MP main camera accompanied by one additional camera, although the function of the secondary sensor is not explained in detail. The front camera uses a 5 MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
The rest of the package is aimed at everyday convenience. Honor includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP64 protection against dust and splashes, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a dedicated AI button that can be accessed with a single press.
Connectivity and software
Connectivity support is practical rather than cutting edge, with dual SIM 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. The phone also runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10.0, giving it Honor’s own software layer from the start.
Honor offers the X7e in Midnight Black and Sunset Orange. With a focus on battery endurance, 45W charging, a 120 Hz display, a 50 MP main camera, and 256 GB of storage, the phone targets users who want a low-cost device that does not compromise on stamina.
