Samsung’s next Ultra model is shaping up to address one of the most persistent complaints about premium phones: battery life. The Galaxy S27 Ultra is reportedly set to come with a 6,000mAh battery, a move that directly targets users who push a flagship through long sessions of gaming, streaming, and multitasking.
That larger battery is only part of the picture. Samsung is also said to be pairing it with faster charging and a more efficient display, creating a package designed to last longer both in use and at the outlet.
A bigger battery for heavier use
The 6,000mAh capacity would mark a major step for the Ultra line, especially because the device is still expected to sit at the top of Samsung’s range for demanding everyday use. For users who spend hours on media playback or intensive apps, extra battery headroom can make a clear difference in how the phone holds up across the day.
That focus matters even more because the Galaxy S27 Ultra is still positioned as a performance-first flagship. A larger battery gives Samsung more room to support sustained use without forcing users to manage power as aggressively.
