7 Digital Pillars Are Now a Corporate Must, XLSmart Pushes Integration as the Real Challenge

XLSmart for Business says the biggest challenge for corporations is no longer adopting digital technology, but connecting everything into one workable system. As AI, cloud, data centers, cybersecurity, and connectivity continue to expand, the company argues that integration has become the decisive issue.

At the Bravo 500 Summit 2026 in Jakarta, XLSmart’s enterprise chief Andrijanto Muljono described the digital world as being built on seven pillars: data, device, network, applications, security, digital infrastructure, and AI plus data analytics. He said these elements are now essential for both individuals and corporations.

The complexity behind digital transformation

According to Andrijanto, many companies understand only part of the picture. He said the challenge is not simply choosing which technology to buy, but deciding how to connect different solutions already available in the market.

“If simplified, the digital universe has seven pillars. From data, devices, connectivity, applications, security, digital infrastructure such as cloud, data centers and GPU, to AI and data analytics,” he said during the summit.

He added that even top executives often do not have a complete grasp of the full stack. “The issue is that these seven things are already inevitable for corporations and individuals. But the question is, who truly has complete knowledge of all seven pillars? Even the average CEO may only understand about 20%,” he said.

Too many vendors, too many choices

The company also pointed to the crowded technology market as another obstacle. Corporations may have the budget to acquire multiple solutions, but they still face the harder question of which brands, suppliers, and platforms are actually the right fit.

That problem grows as businesses need more digital talent, orchestration platforms, and policies that can support transformation end to end. Without that layer of coordination, digital adoption can become fragmented instead of productive.

XLSmart positions itself as the integrator

XLSmart for Business says it aims to act as the connector across this ecosystem. As a telecommunications company, it says it already has experience orchestrating the digital pillars needed to support corporate operations.

“I would describe it as an aircraft carrier, this is XLSmart for Business. Because we are in telecommunications, our daily life is to orchestrate these seven digital pillars for our own needs,” Andrijanto said.

He also noted that XLSmart, formed from the merger of XL Axiata and Smartfren, has now been operating for about 1 year and 4 months. The company currently runs three main business lines: consumer services, home broadband, and enterprise services.

The Bravo 500 Summit 2026 was held under the theme “AI and Data Integration,” with XLSMART for Business presenting it as a forum for industry players, regulators, and other stakeholders to deepen their understanding of fast-moving digital change.

Andrijanto said the event is intended to help CEOs, C-level executives, industry players, and regulators broaden their perspective, build relationships, and collaborate on solutions. “Let us bring solutions for corporations and solutions for the nation,” he said.
