Samsung’s Galaxy A27 5G has surfaced early through a product page on Samsung Czechia, revealing nearly the entire specification sheet before any official launch announcement. The leak gives a clear first look at a midrange phone that upgrades several core areas while making one notable compromise.
The most surprising detail is not the new chip or the updated display. It is the drop in durability, as Samsung appears to have reduced the phone’s water and dust resistance compared with the Galaxy A26.
A cleaner front design with a familiar screen size
The Galaxy A27 5G keeps the same 6.7-inch display size as its predecessor, but the front design changes noticeably. Samsung has moved away from the U-shaped notch and switched to a centered hole-punch camera.
The panel uses a 1080 x 2340 FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung also covers the screen with Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added protection against everyday wear.
Snapdragon replaces Exynos
Performance is one of the biggest changes in the new model. Samsung equips the Galaxy A27 with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, replacing the Exynos 1380 found in the previous generation.
The listing shows 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of expandable storage. A 256GB version is also mentioned, although its RAM configuration is not specified on the page.
Cameras change on both sides
The camera setup also gets a reset. On the front, the Galaxy A27 uses a 12MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
At the rear, Samsung includes a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. That marks a shift from the Galaxy A26, which offered an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 13MP f/2.2 front camera.
Big battery, familiar charging speed
The Galaxy A27 carries a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired fast charging. Samsung says the phone can reach 45 percent in 30 minutes under its charging claim.
For daily use, the device supports dual SIM with a hybrid SIM tray, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-band Wi-Fi. Samsung also adds Quick Share support to iOS devices.
Long software support, but weaker protection
Out of the box, the Galaxy A27 runs One UI 8.5. Samsung is also promising six years of OS and security updates, giving the phone a long software support window for its class.
The trade-off comes on the durability side. The Galaxy A27 is listed with an IP64 rating, which is a step down from the IP67 protection on the Galaxy A26.
Colors and early pricing clues
Samsung Czechia lists four color options for the Galaxy A27 5G: Black, Blue, Light Green, and Light Pink. Pricing and availability are still missing from the official page.
Early leaks, however, suggest the 6GB/128GB model may cost €349, while the 8GB/128GB version is said to be priced at €439. Those figures point to a midrange position for the device, even if Samsung has not confirmed them yet.
