Bigetron Crushes TLID 3-0, One Step Away From The MPL ID S17 Grand Final

Bigetron by Vitality delivered a statement win in the MPL Indonesia Season 17 lower bracket semifinal, sweeping Team Liquid ID 3-0 and keeping their title hopes alive. The result sends Bigetron into the Final Lower Bracket, while Team Liquid ID’s playoff run comes to an abrupt end.

The series also highlighted a sharp contrast between the two teams’ playoff trajectories. Team Liquid ID entered the postseason after a strong regular season, but their form dropped quickly after an earlier loss to Geek Fam ID.

Bigetron set the tone with early pressure

Bigetron wasted no time taking control in the opening game, with Nnael’s Baxia leading quick rotations across the map. Team Liquid ID managed to contest the first Turtle fight, but Bigetron came out ahead in the trade and secured the objective.

Aran briefly swung momentum for TLID with an aggressive Paquito performance and a key double kill. Even so, Bigetron kept the pace of the game in their hands and steadily built the advantage.

By the mid game, Bigetron’s coordination was showing clearly. The team made bold dives into the enemy base area and extended its lead after taking the first Lord without meaningful resistance.

EMANN’s Harith proved hard to contain because Team Liquid ID lacked effective crowd control. On the other side, Morenooo provided stable damage output with Zhuxin and became one of Bigetron’s main sources of pressure.

The opening game ended at 14:09 after Bigetron broke through the base with the help of a super minion wave. The 1-0 lead gave them immediate control of the series.

TLID found moments to fight back, but Bigetron stayed cleaner

Game two began with the same aggressive approach from Bigetron, who continued to handle objectives with discipline. Morenooo once again relied on Zhuxin and remained central to the team’s offensive structure.

By the 10-minute mark, Bigetron had already taken over the map and opened a gold gap of about 9,000. They also secured two Lords, leaving Team Liquid ID with very little room to recover.

TLID still managed to create a brief response by winning a team fight near their own defense area and eliminating four Bigetron players. That play cut the gold deficit sharply and forced the match into a slower, more tactical late-game phase.

The game turned into a tense back-and-forth battle, and Team Liquid ID nearly forced an epic comeback with repeated disruptions to Bigetron’s formation. However, Bigetron’s discipline, led by Morenooo, held firm and closed out the game with a winning fight near their own base.

Morenooo was named MVP after posting a 100 percent team fight participation rate. Bigetron moved onto match point and stood one win away from a clean sweep.

The decider was short, decisive, and fully controlled by Bigetron

The third game served as another clear display of Bigetron by Vitality’s control. Nnael’s Fanny secured first blood early and repeatedly disrupted Team Liquid ID’s jungle area from the start.

Aran tried again to create resistance in the top lane while contesting Turtle, but Bigetron still held the advantage in gold and map control. The pressure from objective play made it difficult for TLID to build any sustained response.

Morenooo again stood out in the final game, this time on Yve. He used Real World Manipulation to limit the movement of TLID’s roamer, Lyoni, and the other players looking for openings.

Bigetron also won several important team fights that quickly reduced Team Liquid ID’s turrets. After securing the first Lord with ease, they surrounded the enemy base and kept the pressure constant.

TLID eventually lost the ability to absorb the repeated assaults. Bigetron sealed the third game at 11:51 after winning the final team fight in the enemy base area, completing the 3-0 sweep.

Morenooo finished the series as Player of the Match thanks to his consistent impact across all three games. Bigetron now move one step closer to the Grand Final of MPL ID S17 and will next await the winner of ONIC Esports versus Geek Fam ID in the Final Upper Bracket.
