OnePlus Pad 3 Pro Raises the Stakes, 16 GB RAM and 13,380 mAh Battery Set the Pace

OnePlus has introduced the Pad 3 Pro in China with a clear message: this is a tablet built to compete at the top end of the Android market. The combination of Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, up to 16 GB of RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage gives it the kind of hardware usually reserved for flagship phones and performance-focused laptops.

That positioning matters because OnePlus is not presenting the device as a simple entertainment slate. The company is aiming at users who want a large-screen tablet for work, study, and demanding multitasking, while still keeping gaming and media playback in the picture.

Flagship hardware leads the story

At the center of the device is Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with LPDDR5X RAM of up to 16 GB. Internal storage reaches 512 GB, and OnePlus uses UFS 4.1 to keep app loading and file handling fast.

OnePlus describes the Pad 3 Pro as the most powerful tablet it has built so far. The claim is backed by a specification sheet that leans heavily into raw speed and responsiveness rather than modest efficiency.

A large display built for long sessions

The tablet uses a 13.2-inch LCD panel with a 7:5 aspect ratio and a resolution of 3,392 x 2,400 pixels. It is also designed to feel smooth in daily use, thanks to an adaptive refresh rate that ranges from 30 Hz to 144 Hz.

Brightness peaks at 1,000 nits, while OnePlus says the display covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Those figures point to a panel intended for reading, content creation, and video consumption rather than basic casual browsing.

Productivity tools and AI features

ColorOS 16 brings the software layer, and OnePlus has added features that go beyond standard Android tablet functions. The Pad 3 Pro includes PC-like WPS Office support, file management tools, cross-device screen sharing, and support for keyboard and mouse use across devices.

OnePlus has also built in AI tools for note-taking, document translation, and content creation. That mix gives the tablet a stronger productivity angle and makes it easier to see how it fits into a broader work setup.

Battery, audio, and cameras complete the package

Battery life is another major selling point, with a 13,380 mAh cell inside the device. Charging is supported at 67 watts, which helps the large battery stay practical for daily use.

For media and calls, the Pad 3 Pro carries eight speakers and two microphones. It also includes a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera, plus Face Unlock and stylus support for a wider range of use cases.

Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4 and USB 3.2 Gen 1, rounding out the premium spec sheet. The tablet is offered in Dark Brown and Light Green, with sales currently limited to China.

Pricing in China

OnePlus is offering the Pad 3 Pro in three memory configurations. The base model starts at 4.399 yuan for the 12 GB/256 GB version, while the 12 GB/512 GB model is priced at 4.899 yuan.

The top configuration, which pairs 16 GB of RAM with 512 GB of storage, costs 5.399 yuan. For now, there is no official word on availability in Indonesia, but the hardware mix makes the Pad 3 Pro one of OnePlus’ most aggressive tablet entries yet.
