Lenovo has launched the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 in Indonesia as a premium tablet aimed at users who want work, study, and entertainment in one device. The model is positioned as a more flexible alternative to a laptop, with productivity accessories, AI features, a 3.5K 144Hz display, and a 10,200mAh battery.
The most distinctive part of the package is its desktop-style workflow. Lenovo includes WPS Office PC Level, which is designed to make document editing, presentations, and spreadsheets feel closer to a traditional computer experience.
Built for productivity first
According to Lenovo, the interface of WPS Office PC Level is made to resemble a PC, making it easier for users who often handle office tasks on the move. Cloud synchronization is also supported, so files remain accessible both online and offline.
That approach places the tablet in a narrow but attractive category for students, professionals, and creators who want to stay productive without carrying a laptop everywhere. The company is clearly targeting users who need a lighter setup without giving up familiar work tools.
Performance and AI features
Under the hood, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and runs Android 16. The combination is intended to support smoother multitasking across multiple applications.
Lenovo also adds several AI-based tools, including Smarter Reader, AI Notes, Live Transcript, and Smart AI Input. These features are meant to help users summarize reading material, create notes automatically, transcribe conversations, and speed up typing and document handling.
Large screen, premium audio, and long battery life
For visual tasks and entertainment, the tablet features a 13-inch PureSight Pro display with 3.5K resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate. Lenovo says the panel is supported by low blue light and flicker-free technology to improve comfort during longer use sessions.
Audio is handled by JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos optimization, giving film playback, music, and video calls a more immersive sound profile. The device also centers on endurance with a 10,200mAh battery, which is designed to last through a full day of use more comfortably.
Price, bundles, and launch offers
The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 starts at Rp8.899.000 with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus included, while a bundle with the Lenovo 2-in-1 Keyboard Pack is offered from Rp9.899.000. Both packages reinforce Lenovo’s pitch that this tablet can serve as a practical work device as well as a portable entertainment screen.
During the initial sales period until 31 July 2026, buyers may also claim a 14-inch sling bag while stocks last. Lenovo says the offer is part of its effort to make the first-time ownership experience more complete for users who want a ready-to-use productivity setup.
Consumer Lead Lenovo Indonesia Santi Nainggolan said the device is designed to deliver more flexible productivity, learning, and entertainment in one product. In practice, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is Lenovo’s attempt to blur the line between tablet convenience and laptop-style work capability.
