Lenovo’s latest ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 is making its strongest case through mobility and memory, not through affordability. The new 14-inch business laptop adds 5G connectivity and support for up to 64 GB of RAM, but its pricing places it firmly in the premium segment.
That positioning becomes clear in the AMD version, which starts at $2,129. Lenovo has also listed launch prices of AUD 2,024 in Australia, CAD 3,359 in Canada, €2,429 in the Euro area, HKD 12,403 in Hong Kong, MYR 6,074 in Malaysia, and SGD 2,684 in Singapore.
AMD costs more than Intel
The sharpest contrast appears when Lenovo’s AMD model is compared with the Intel Panther Lake version. The Intel configuration is currently priced at $1,739, making it about 22% cheaper than the AMD variant.
Lenovo says the higher AMD price is tied in part to the larger memory ceiling. Earlier AMD configurations were said to top out at 32 GB, while the newer configuration is described as supporting 64 GB of RAM.
Display options remain limited for now
For buyers expecting a wider screen choice, the current lineup is more restrained than some early expectations suggested. Lenovo has not yet offered the OLED 1800p panel with a variable 120 Hz refresh rate that was previously listed on the PSREF page.
Instead, the available options are IPS panels with 1200p resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Two of those panels are said to reach 500 nits, which helps keep the model suitable for professional use in brighter environments.
Built for mobile business use
The combination of 5G and high-capacity memory gives the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 a clear focus on modern business workflows. It is designed for professionals who move frequently and often juggle multiple applications at once.
Lenovo is rolling the device out across several major markets, with pricing already published for multiple regions. Further configuration and availability details are expected to be available through Lenovo’s own channels.
