Motorola is pushing the premium smartphone conversation in a new direction with the Edge 70 Fusion. The device combines a 7,000 mAh battery and 512 GB of internal storage in a body that still measures about 7.2 mm thick.
That contrast is the main attraction. A large battery and huge storage capacity are usually associated with bulkier phones, yet Motorola is positioning this model as a thin and lightweight option for daily use.
Big battery, long use time
The 7,000 mAh battery is one of the most notable features of the Edge 70 Fusion. Motorola says it can support up to around 50 hours for light usage, while still being able to last through a full day for more active users.
To help reduce charging time, the phone also supports 68W TurboPower fast charging. That makes the large battery less of a compromise for users who want endurance without waiting too long at the outlet.
Storage that leaves room to spare
Another headline feature is the 512 GB internal memory. The capacity gives users space for high-resolution photos, videos, large apps, and work files without needing to clear storage often.
Motorola also offers the Edge 70 Fusion with 8 GB and 12 GB RAM options. In addition, the company includes AI-based RAM expansion of up to 16 GB for extra multitasking headroom.
Display and design focus
Despite the battery size, the phone keeps a slim profile at about 7.2 mm and weighs roughly 177 grams. That combination is intended to keep the device comfortable for everyday handling.
On the front, Motorola uses a 6.78-inch curved pOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is designed to deliver sharp visuals and smoother motion for social media, gaming, and multimedia playback.
Protection comes from Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which is meant to help reduce the risk of scratches during regular use.
Performance, cameras, and software
Inside, the Edge 70 Fusion is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Motorola places the chip in the segment for multitasking, online learning, work, and gaming.

Video recording support goes up to 4K, giving the phone a stronger position for content creation and everyday documentation. The software side runs Android 16, paired with a lightweight interface and a long-term security update promise.
Durability and connectivity
The Edge 70 Fusion also arrives with IP68 and IP69K certification, along with MIL-STD-810H durability standards. Those additions make the phone more than just a slim device with a large battery.
Connectivity support includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 6.0. Together, the features round out a premium package aimed at users who want storage, endurance, and modern connectivity in one device.
