Free Fire’s 9th Anniversary Puts a Laptop and Custom Bike on the Line, Here’s How the Hidden Rewards Work

Garena is marking Free Fire’s ninth anniversary with a large-scale celebration called Pesta 9, and the biggest attention is going to two rare prizes: a laptop and a custom motorbike. The event combines in-game rewards, offline festivals, and community activities into one campaign built to reward long-time players.

The headline prizes are only part of the package. Garena is also rolling out a series of free items, including the Emote Kicau Mania, which draws inspiration from the viral Scuba Dance movement and can be claimed by all players starting 6 July 2026.

The in-game hunt for the main prizes

The special in-game event opens at the end of June and serves as the main entry point for players hoping to secure the limited-edition laptop and custom motorbike. Garena describes both items as exclusive rewards tied to the anniversary celebration.

Alongside those prizes, players can also unlock a free Epic Fight-themed bundle, a community collaboration backpack, and the premium AUG EVO Gun. The reward pool is designed to keep the event active even for players who are not chasing the top prizes.

What is happening offline in Yogyakarta

The offline centerpiece of Pesta 9 will take place in Yogyakarta from 2 to 12 July 2026. The city will also host the Grand Finals of FFNS 2026 Fall on the final day, turning the anniversary into a major esports and community gathering.

As an opening activation, Free Fire will transform the Teras Malioboro area into a Waiting Cabin-themed space inspired by the game. Visitors who stop by can experience the setup and receive exclusive merchandise for free.

A Fast Tournament is also part of the program, giving players the chance to test their skills against Pro Players, well-known KOLs, and Game Masters. The format ties the anniversary to direct competition rather than only digital rewards.

Festival access, music, and community focus

The celebration continues with a Pesta 9 themed Festival Rakyat at Lapangan Pancasila Grha Sabha Pramana, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The festival pairs Yogyakarta street food with a stage program of music performances and can be entered for free with an official ticket.

This wider program shows that Garena is treating the anniversary as more than a giveaway campaign. The offline lineup is meant to deepen community interaction while extending the Free Fire experience beyond the screen.

Gameplay updates arrive with the anniversary

The celebration also brings a major refresh to the game itself. Free Fire is introducing a 3D Lobby with interactive social features such as Arena Showdown, Group Dance, and Saddle Brawl.

Battle Royale mode is getting Zone Missions and a Loot Box Revival system to help bring teammates back into play. Clash Squad is also receiving an Ability Point System and Skill Power Boost to increase character power in matches.

A longer tribute to the player base

Garena says Pesta 9 is intended as recognition for the players who have stayed with Free Fire over nine years. The mix of free rewards, offline events, and competitive activations is designed to make the anniversary feel broader than a routine in-game campaign.

The celebration also closes with the official theme song, Made for the Fire, now available on Spotify. With limited-edition prizes, free cosmetics, and a major festival in Yogyakarta, Free Fire’s ninth anniversary has been built as one of the game’s biggest moments of the year.
