Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition Breaks Cover, Limited Run May Become a Collector’s Target

Nothing has shown off the Phone 4b RCB Edition ahead of its India launch on 7 July, and the special model is already drawing attention for one reason above all: scarcity. The limited-run device will be sold only at the Nothing Bengaluru store, starting at 4 p.m., under a first-come, first-served system.

The collaboration goes beyond a simple color swap. Nothing says the edition marks two years of partnership with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, making the handset a symbolic release as well as a retail novelty.

A design built around RCB identity

The back panel uses a deep red finish with a textured surface, while the Royal Challengers Bengaluru crest sits near the lower section of the body. Nothing has kept its familiar transparent design language intact, pairing the Glyph Bar and camera module with visible internal elements, including screws, red textures, and an industrial-style aesthetic.

That combination makes the Phone 4b RCB Edition stand out from the standard model without abandoning the brand’s recognizable visual identity. For RCB fans, the result is a device that looks more like a collector piece than a conventional midrange smartphone.

Where the Phone 4b fits in Nothing’s lineup

Beyond the special edition, the Phone 4b matters because it is the first model in Nothing’s new “b” series. The line is positioned as a more affordable entry point into the company’s smartphone ecosystem and sits below the Phone 4a.

Model Positioning Starting Price
Phone 4a Higher in the lineup Rs. 37,999
Phone 4b Below Phone 4a Not yet announced

Nothing has not confirmed the official price for the Phone 4b. However, leaks suggest it could land around Rs. 30,000, although the company has not endorsed that figure and will reveal the final number at launch.

What is confirmed, and what is still based on leaks

The company has confirmed that the Phone 4b will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, but it has not named the exact chipset. Multiple leaks point to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, though that detail remains unverified until the event.

Feature Status Reported Detail
Processor Confirmed broadly Qualcomm Snapdragon
Chipset Leak Snapdragon 6 Gen 4
Display Leak 6.7-inch AMOLED, 120Hz
Rear Cameras Leak Dual setup with 50MP main sensor
Front Camera Leak 16MP
Battery Leak About 5,400mAh
Software Leak Android 16 with Nothing OS

Among the reported details, the display is expected to be a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Camera leaks point to a dual rear setup led by a 50MP main sensor, while the front camera is said to be 16MP.

Software may also be a selling point if the leaks prove accurate, since the device is expected to arrive with Android 16 running Nothing OS. Yogesh Brar has also reported that the battery capacity is around 5,400mAh, adding to the picture of a phone aimed at mainstream users seeking a balanced spec sheet.

Why the launch matters for India

The rollout strategy is tightly focused on Bengaluru, which strengthens the connection between the handset and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. By limiting sales to a single store in a single city, Nothing is turning the launch into an event that is likely to attract both club supporters and collectors.

That is why 7 July matters on two fronts. It will finally establish where the Phone 4b sits in Nothing’s affordability push, and it will show how much demand the RCB Edition can generate when availability is intentionally restricted.
