OnePlus Ace 7 Leaks Point to a 185Hz Display, 9,000mAh Battery, and Active Cooling

OnePlus appears to be pushing the Ace line even further toward performance-first hardware, and the latest leak suggests the Ace 7 could be one of the brand’s most aggressive models yet. The rumored combination of a 185Hz display, a 9,000mAh battery, and built-in cooling points to a device designed for heavy gaming and sustained workloads.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus Ace 7 may run on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or a slightly cut-down SM8850Q variant. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is built on a 3nm process and is already used in the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15T.

Cooling and performance take priority

The most notable detail in the leak is the inclusion of a built-in fan. That choice fits OnePlus’ usual approach for the Ace series, which has long been positioned around speed and performance rather than camera-first features.

A phone with a flagship-class chip and active cooling is generally aimed at keeping performance stable under pressure. For users who push their devices with gaming or other demanding tasks, that combination can make a meaningful difference.

A very fast display and an unusually large battery

The Ace 7 is also said to feature a 6.78-inch panel with 1.5K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. That refresh rate would place it among the fastest displays expected in a mainstream smartphone.

The same leak points to a battery capacity of around 9,000mAh. Charging support is reportedly set at 100W or 120W fast charging, which would help offset the large battery size with shorter top-up times.

A Pro model is also in development

OnePlus Ace 7 Pro is also said to be in the pipeline. The Pro version is rumored to add a 50MP periscope telephoto camera using the Samsung JN5 sensor with 3.5x optical zoom.

That detail suggests OnePlus is not limiting the Ace series to raw speed alone. The company appears to be broadening the appeal of the lineup with longer-range photography features as well.

Launch timing remains unconfirmed

There is still no official launch date for the Ace 7. However, the OnePlus Ace 6 launched in China in October 2025, which gives a rough idea of when the next model could appear.

If that pattern holds, the Ace 7 could arrive as another highly ambitious entry in OnePlus’ upper-tier lineup. For now, the leak points to a phone built around fast visuals, a large battery, active cooling, and flagship-grade silicon.
