Caviar has turned the still-unconfirmed idea of a foldable iPhone into an ultra-premium product, complete with titanium, gold, and crocodile leather. The Russian accessory maker is already selling its own interpretation of the rumored iPhone Fold, even though Apple has not announced such a device.
The collection is called The Flagship: The First Foldable Phone by Caviar, and it appears to borrow from leaked foldable iPhone designs circulating online. Caviar presents the concept in a book-style foldable form with a wider and shorter body than the current iPhone lineup.
Four variants, each with a distinct luxury material mix
Caviar built the lineup around the most discussed iPhone Fold leaks and then elevated the concept with its own premium finishes. The company uses titanium, genuine crocodile leather, sterling silver, carbon fiber, and 18-karat gold across the four models.
Production is heavily limited, with only 19 units planned for each variant worldwide. Every model also includes a 3D Apple logo as part of the design treatment.
| Variant | Price | Main Material | Notable Feature |
|---|---|---|---|
| Titan | 13,840 US dollars | Black PVD-coated black titanium, black crocodile leather | Most affordable model |
| Dark Cherry | 14,270 US dollars | Dark purple crocodile leather, 24-karat gold accents | Inspired by the rumored Dark Cherry color |
| Silver | 15,270 US dollars | Sterling silver | 3D Apple logo made from pure silver |
| Gold | 15,560 US dollars | Carbon fiber with gold thread, 24-karat gold frame | Raised Apple logo in 18-karat gold |
The Titan is the entry model at 13,840 US dollars, or about Rp 249 million. It pairs a black titanium body with black crocodile leather panels for the most understated look in the lineup.
Dark Cherry sits above it at 14,270 US dollars, or about Rp 256.8 million. Caviar says the color draws inspiration from the Dark Cherry leak that is rumored for the iPhone 18 Pro line.
The most expensive version is framed as a tribute to Apple
The Silver model costs 15,270 US dollars, or about Rp 274.8 million. On this version, the upper panel uses sterling silver and the 3D Apple logo is made from pure silver.
The top-end Gold model starts at 15,560 US dollars, or about Rp 280 million. Caviar combines a carbon-fiber back with gold thread, a 24-karat gold frame, and a raised Apple logo made from 18-karat gold.
Caviar says the Gold version is intended as a tribute to Apple’s 50th anniversary. Orders are open, but the device remains an unofficial interpretation rather than an Apple release.
Apple’s actual foldable iPhone remains a rumor
Apple has not confirmed that an iPhone Fold exists, but leaks continue to surface. One of the most recent came from gadget leaker Sonny Dickson, who shared photos of a dummy unit on X.
The dummy shows a book-style foldable design similar to many Android foldables, with an inner display of about 7.8 inches and an outer display of about 5.5 inches. When folded, the device is said to have a shorter and wider screen ratio that resembles a passport.
It also shows a capsule-shaped rear camera module on the left side, housing two cameras with a flash beside them. The front camera is placed in the upper-left corner of the inner display.
Other reports suggest Apple may skip Face ID on the foldable and instead use Touch ID integrated into the power button for unlocking and Apple Pay authentication.
Apple is also expected to lean on the iPad app ecosystem so the software experience feels mature from the start. The biggest advantage, however, may be the hinge quality and an almost invisible display crease when the device is opened.
For now, the most concrete foldable iPhone on sale is not from Apple at all, but from Caviar, with a price range that pushes well beyond Rp 200 million.
