Indonesia’s iCloud+ Bills Rise Above 50 GB, 12 TB Plan Jumps Rp200,000

Apple users in Indonesia who need more than 50 GB of cloud storage now face higher iCloud+ subscription bills. The largest increase affects the 12 TB plan, which has risen by Rp200,000 to Rp1.199.000 from Rp999.000.

The 50 GB tier is the only iCloud+ option in Indonesia that has kept its previous price. It remains Rp15.000, while every plan from 200 GB through 12 TB has become more expensive.

The price increase starts with the 200 GB tier, which now costs Rp59.000 instead of Rp49.000. The 2 TB plan has moved from Rp169.000 to Rp199.000.

Users on the larger storage tiers see a more substantial change. The 6 TB plan now costs Rp599.000, up from Rp499.000, while the 12 TB option reaches Rp1.199.000.

Broader Apple Pricing Adjustments

The iCloud+ changes follow other Apple price increases in various markets. Apple previously raised Apple Music and Apple One prices in the United States and increased iPhone prices in Japan by as much as 11 percent.

The company has also been reported to have increased prices for MacBook, iPad, and other products amid a global memory chip shortage. Cloud storage has now joined the list of Apple services and products affected by pricing adjustments.

Laos, Mauritius, and the Republic of Congo are also receiving iCloud+ billing updates in US dollars. Apple noted that prices in Mauritius and the Republic of Congo may be slightly higher because of local value-added tax adjustments.

Laos pricing starts at USD0,99 for 50 GB and reaches USD64,99 for 12 TB. Mauritius and the Republic of Congo start at USD1,19 for 50 GB and rise to USD69,99 for the 12 TB plan.
