The update is based on Android 17, yet it is not positioned as a major visual overhaul. Its changelog focuses on system stability, performance optimization, and the June 2026 Android security patch.
Availability also depends on the device model, region, and rollout channel. Xiaomi is distributing the software in stages, so eligible users may not receive the update notification at the same time.

The Xiaomi 17 has also received a public HyperOS 3.3 release in the Global and European regions. Its 7.5GB package is smaller than that of the Ultra model, but it still requires adequate free storage.
Despite the Android 17 foundation, users should not expect a new interface design or a major group of new features. Xiaomi is directing this release toward keeping the device stable during app use and multitasking.
3. Xiaomi 15T Pro
The Xiaomi 15T Pro is receiving HyperOS 3.3 for its Global variant through the Mi Pilot program. This means the 7.5GB update remains limited to users participating in Xiaomi’s testing channel.
Owners of the model may therefore need to wait longer than users of the Xiaomi 17 series. Having a supported device does not guarantee that the update will appear immediately.
How to Check for the Update
Users can open Settings, enter About Phone, and tap the HyperOS logo to check whether the update is available. If HyperOS 3.3 appears, the download and installation process can be continued using the on-screen instructions.
Medcom.id noted that the rollout is being released gradually across eligible devices and regions. A more substantial interface and feature update is expected through HyperOS 4, which is said to arrive in August 2026 alongside the Xiaomi 18 series.
