1. Galaxy Z Flip8 Focuses on Portability

The Galaxy Z Flip8 uses a clamshell form factor and weighs 180 grams. It is 8 grams lighter than the Galaxy Z Flip7 and measures 6.1 mm when opened.

Samsung has revised the hinge to make it sturdier and smoother to open and close. The device also has a wider inner bezel gap.

Two content-focused features are included on the Flip8. Flip Shot lets users adjust the background on the cover screen while taking mirror selfies.

Dual Recording activates the front and rear cameras at the same time. Users and their companions can view video previews from both angles before sharing the footage on social media.

2. Galaxy Z Fold8 Adopts a Wider Display Format

The Galaxy Z Fold8 has a book-style design with a 4:3 aspect ratio when its main screen is unfolded. The wider layout is intended for e-books, social media scrolling, and video viewing.

At 201 grams, Samsung describes it as its lightest book-style foldable phone. Its 5.5-inch cover screen is also designed to make the device easier to carry in a pocket.

Durability measures include a dual titanium layer beneath the display and a stronger hinge. The Fold8 also supports Dual Recording for joint video creation.

Another feature, My FanCam, is designed for concerts or scenes with several moving subjects. After recording, users can choose an object to crop, and the crop follows that subject’s movement.

3. Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra Delivers the Premium Package

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra measures 4.1 mm when unfolded and is described as the thinnest Fold series model currently available on the market. It uses tougher materials and a smoother hinge mechanism.

Its silicon-carbon battery technology is intended to provide substantial capacity without making the body excessively thick. The display reaches up to 3,000 nits of brightness and includes an anti-reflective coating.

The rear camera setup consists of a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. This configuration is stated to be identical to that of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

With memory options reaching 16GB/1TB, the Fold8 Ultra combines the highest price with the broadest specification package. Buyers can compare storage capacity, form factor, and the available pre-order offers before selecting a model.
