Xiaomi Expands Its S Mini LED TV Lineup, 1200-Nit 4K Viewing and 120Hz Gaming Support

Xiaomi has introduced the S Mini LED TV series in India, positioning it for buyers who want a larger-screen upgrade without stepping into the highest price bracket. The lineup starts at Rs 51,999 and comes in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch variants, with a clear emphasis on brighter visuals, stronger contrast, and broad everyday usability.

The company is also backing the launch with pricing benefits during the booking period. Effective prices are listed at Rs 48,999 for the 55-inch model, Rs 66,999 for the 65-inch model, and Rs 89,999 for the 75-inch version, depending on bank offers.

Launch offers and availability

Pre-booking runs from 15 April to 21 April, and buyers can receive bank discounts of up to Rs 10,000 during that window. Xiaomi is also including two additional years of warranty in the pre-booking phase, which brings total coverage to four years.

Once official sales begin on 22 April, the bank offer remains available, but the extended warranty benefit changes. At that point, the extra warranty drops to one year, resulting in a total of three years of protection, and no-cost EMI is available for up to 12 months.

The TVs will be sold through mi.com, online channels, and offline retail stores across India.

Mini LED panel built for brighter, more controlled image quality

At the center of the series is QD Mini-LED technology, which combines Quantum Dot colour with Mini LED backlighting. Xiaomi says this setup helps deliver more precise light control than conventional LED panels, which should improve the balance between dark scenes and bright highlights.

The company claims a peak brightness of 1200 nits, a specification that supports more visible detail in brighter viewing conditions. All three models feature 4K Ultra HD resolution, and Xiaomi has added Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode to support accurate colour and image detail for films and series.

A focus on fast motion and gaming

The S Mini LED TV series is also designed to handle quick movement on screen. Xiaomi equips the lineup with DLG 120Hz, MEMC, and Auto Low Latency Mode, or ALLM, to help reduce blur and improve responsiveness.

That combination makes the TVs relevant not only for movies, but also for sports broadcasts, console gaming, and action-heavy content. The positioning suggests a single display meant to serve multiple household entertainment needs rather than one narrow use case.

Audio, smart features, and connectivity

For sound, Xiaomi includes a quad-speaker 34W setup with support for Dolby Audio, DTS:X, and DTS Virtual:X. The aim is to deliver a fuller audio experience without requiring external speakers right away.

On the software side, the TV runs PatchWall, Xiaomi’s content discovery platform, and also supports Xiaomi TV+ for free live TV channels. It further adds AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and Miracast for device sharing and casting.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, while the package is rounded out with Eye Care Mode, Quick Wake, and a redesigned remote with quick settings. Taken together, the series is framed as a large-screen TV that tries to combine display quality, gaming readiness, and everyday convenience in one package.
