realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G Debuts in India, 7000 mAh Battery and 144Hz Display at a Budget Price

realme has expanded its Narzo lineup in India with the launch of the Narzo 100 Lite 5G, a budget 5G phone that leans heavily on battery endurance and fast-moving display hardware. Positioned at an affordable price, the device stands out immediately for its 7,000 mAh battery and 144Hz screen.

The new model arrives as a continuation of the Narzo 90 series, which earlier made its debut in India in December 2025. With that relatively short gap between releases, realme appears to be pushing aggressively into the low-cost segment with a package that is more ambitious than many phones in its class.

Battery life becomes the main selling point

The battery is the most prominent feature on the Narzo 100 Lite 5G, and realme emphasizes its capacity over almost everything else. The company says the 7,000 mAh unit can still leave around 50% charge after 10 hours of video playback, 11 hours of chatting, 12 hours of gaming, 34 hours of calling, or up to 70 hours of music playback.

realme also claims the battery is built to remain reliable for up to six years, while operating stability is maintained in temperatures ranging from -20 to 53 degrees Celsius. Charging is handled through USB Type-C at 15W, and the phone also supports reverse wired charging for other devices such as phones, tablets, and earbuds.

Another practical feature included here is bypass charging, which is useful when the phone is used while plugged into a charger. This combination makes the Narzo 100 Lite 5G more focused on long daily use than on chasing high charging speeds.

A large 144Hz LCD for a low-cost 5G phone

On the front, the phone uses a 6.8-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels. realme pairs the display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 256 ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness of 900 nits.

Those numbers place the display among the more notable features in the affordable smartphone category. A faster refresh rate should help make scrolling and animations feel smoother in everyday use, while the large panel also supports media viewing and general multitasking.

At the top of the screen, there is a waterdrop notch that houses a 5MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 78-degree field of view. The selfie camera also handles video calls and face scanning.

Dimensity 6300 powers the phone with Android 16 onboard

Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a 6nm chipset. It uses two Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, placing the phone in the entry-level 5G class with a balance of efficiency and basic everyday speed.

realme offers three memory configurations: 4/64GB, 4/128GB, and 6/128GB. The device also ships with realme UI 7 based on Android 16, so users get the newer software experience from the start.

Simple rear camera setup and practical body features

The rear side keeps things straightforward with a 13MP main camera using an f/2.2 aperture and a 77-degree field of view. It sits beside an LED flash, and the back design uses a clean vertical triple-hole layout that reflects the phone’s budget positioning.

This setup suggests the Narzo 100 Lite 5G is aimed at basic photography needs rather than a more advanced imaging package. For everyday snapshots and short clips, however, the camera configuration remains appropriate for its price segment.

The phone also carries IP64 certification and MIL-STD 810H protection, giving it claimed resistance against dust, splashes, and tougher physical conditions such as bumps or drops onto hard surfaces. It measures 166.3 x 78.1 x 8.4 mm and weighs 212 grams.

For multimedia and day-to-day convenience, realme includes a mono speaker with 300% volume boost, a 3.5mm audio jack, one microphone, a hybrid card slot, and a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

India pricing and color options

realme has priced the Narzo 100 Lite 5G as an affordable 5G option in India. The available variants are listed as follows:

  • 4/64GB: 13,499 rupees
  • 4/128GB: 14,499 rupees
  • 6/128GB: 16,499 rupees

The phone comes in thunder black and frost silver, giving buyers two understated color choices. With a 7,000 mAh battery, 144Hz display, 5G support, and a body built with durability claims, the Narzo 100 Lite 5G enters a crowded budget market with a specification sheet designed to draw attention quickly.
