Oppo Expands Its Ecosystem, Pad 6 And Bubble Turn Tablets And Selfie Setup Into Premium Play

Oppo is broadening its product push beyond smartphones, and the clearest sign comes from a lineup that mixes a premium tablet with a rather unusual selfie accessory. The company’s next showcase in China appears designed to strengthen its ecosystem across entertainment, productivity, audio, and personal expression.

At the center of that plan is the Oppo Pad 6, a tablet that is being positioned for the premium segment. It is expected to focus on visual quality, multitasking, and media consumption, which makes it the most prominent device in the wider launch lineup.

A larger premium tablet with flagship ambitions

Leaks suggest that the Oppo Pad 6 will use a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 3000 x 2120 resolution. The display is also said to support a 144Hz refresh rate and a 7:5 aspect ratio, aiming to deliver smoother motion and a more comfortable viewing experience.

The tablet is also rumored to stay relatively thin and light for its class. Its body is said to measure just 5.99 mm thick and weigh around 577 grams, which should make it easier to carry and more practical for long work or entertainment sessions.

Under the hood, the device is said to rely on the Dimensity 9500s chipset. Oppo is also reportedly pairing it with a 10,420mAh battery and 67W fast charging, while the color choices circulating so far include gray, silver, and blue.

Bubble turns the rear camera into a selfie tool

Alongside the tablet, Oppo is preparing a product called Oppo Bubble. This accessory is a small round display that attaches magnetically to the back of a smartphone.

Its main purpose is very specific: it acts as a selfie preview screen so users can shoot with the rear camera while still seeing themselves in real time. That gives the rear camera setup a more practical role in self-portrait use.

Bubble also adds a layer of customization. It is said to show emoji and custom images, turning the back of the phone into a more interactive and decorative element.

More devices to round out the ecosystem

Oppo is also expected to unveil a new earbud model called OPPO Enco Air 5s at the same event. Specific details have not been disclosed, but the product is being seen as a follow-up to the Enco Air line, which has been associated with lightweight daily use.

The company is additionally set to introduce a new color option for the Oppo Pad Air 5. The tablet, which arrived in China in December 2025, is reportedly getting a white variant to join Starlight Pink and Space Gray.

Where Oppo Pad Air 5 sits in the lineup

The Pad Air 5 offers a useful benchmark for what Oppo already has in the market. It carries a 12.1-inch LCD screen with 2.8K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 7:5 aspect ratio.

Its specifications also include a Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, a 10,050mAh battery, 33W charging, a 6.83 mm thickness, and a weight of around 597 grams. Compared with that model, the Pad 6 is shaping up as the more ambitious premium option in Oppo’s tablet strategy.

Taken together, the new devices show a more deliberate direction for Oppo’s hardware lineup. The focus is no longer limited to phones, but extends to products that support entertainment, mobility, and more flexible ways for users to interact with technology.
