A slim power bank usually asks users to choose between portability and capacity. Xiaomi’s new Jinshajiang Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W aims to remove that trade-off by packing 10,000mAh into a body that measures only 13.2 mm thick.
The device is already open for pre-order in China at 369 yuan, or about US$54. Xiaomi pairs that price with a design built for everyday carry, making the accessory notable not only for its size but also for its mix of wired and magnetic wireless charging.
Thin body, full-day capacity
Xiaomi keeps the shell compact at 102 x 70.5 x 13.2 mm, with a weight of around 195 grams. That makes it easy to slip into a bag or pocket without the bulk usually associated with a 10,000mAh power bank.
Inside, the company uses two 5,000mAh battery cells to reach the total 10,000mAh capacity. Xiaomi says the slim profile is supported by its latest GSR silicon-carbon anode battery technology, which it claims can reach an energy density of up to 840Wh/L with 16 percent silicon content.
Wired and wireless charging in one device
The strongest appeal of this model is its flexibility. Xiaomi says the magnetic wireless charging output reaches up to 20W and supports compatible Xiaomi smartphones and iPhones with magnetic charging support.
For users who prefer a cable, the power bank can deliver up to 45W through wired charging. It also supports other fast-charging modes, including 40W, 30W, and 27W, giving it broader compatibility across devices.
Xiaomi also allows two devices to charge at the same time. Users can combine wired and wireless charging, which makes the power bank more practical for people who need to power a phone and another device without waiting for one charge to finish.
Charging the power bank itself
Recharging the accessory is handled through an input of up to 30W. Xiaomi also includes QC and PD protocol support so the power bank can work with a wide range of common chargers.
That approach fits the product’s travel-friendly positioning. A fast refill matters when the battery pack itself is expected to be used heavily throughout the day.
Protection and thermal management
Xiaomi has added several layers of protection to the unit. The system covers overcharging, over-discharging, short circuits, overheating, and abnormal operating conditions.
Temperature control also gets special attention. Xiaomi uses a smart NTC temperature control chip, while graphene and conductive thermal silicone help with heat dissipation.
The company says the battery cells have passed extreme tests, including needle puncture, high-temperature storage, and high-pressure compression. Xiaomi claims those tests did not trigger fire or explosion.
Battery health monitoring
The power bank also includes battery health monitoring that can be accessed through a computer. Users can check battery status, cell health data, traceability information, and system anomaly records.
That feature gives the device a more advanced profile than a basic charger. It also shows that Xiaomi is treating the power bank as a monitored accessory rather than a simple backup battery.
Positioning in Xiaomi’s accessory lineup
With its ultra-thin build, 10,000mAh capacity, 20W magnetic wireless charging, and 45W wired output, the Jinshajiang Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W is aimed at users who want a compact power solution without giving up speed.
The combination of a slim frame and dual-device charging is what makes the product stand out in a crowded category. For users who prioritize mobility, Xiaomi is betting that this balance will matter more than a larger, heavier power bank.
