Vivo’s T5 arrives with a specification sheet that puts endurance and durability at the center of the conversation. The phone pairs a 7,200mAh battery with IP68 and IP69 protection, making it one of the more practical mid-range options for users who want a device that can handle long days and less forgiving conditions.

That focus is matched by a 32MP selfie camera, a 50MP main rear camera, and a 120Hz display, giving the Vivo T5 a mix of features that goes beyond basic affordability. It is positioned as a straightforward daily driver for work, entertainment, and communication, without demanding frequent trips to the charger.

Price, color options, and availability

The Vivo T5 is priced at 5,799 Mexican pesos, or around Rp5 million. At launch, it comes in a single configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Buyers can choose between Black and Gold. Sales have already opened through Vivo’s official store in Mexico.

Display built for smoother daily use

On the front, Vivo uses a 6.75-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,570 pixels. While it does not use AMOLED technology, the screen still supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother navigation and scrolling.

The display also reaches a peak brightness of 1,250 nits, which should help usability outdoors. For added protection, the phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings against dust and high-pressure water.

Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 handles the core performance

The T5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 built on a 6nm process. It is paired with LPDDR4X 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

This hardware setup is aimed at everyday tasks such as social media, video streaming, multitasking, and light to moderate gaming. In that context, the phone leans toward efficiency and balanced use rather than chasing flagship-level performance.

Cameras keep the focus on practicality

At the back, the Vivo T5 includes a 50MP primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It is joined by a secondary 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, forming a simple setup intended for functional daily photography.

The front-facing 32MP camera is one of the phone’s main selling points. Vivo is clearly targeting users who rely on the selfie camera for self-portraits and video calls that look cleaner and more detailed.

Big battery, faster charging, and software support

The strongest headline feature is the 7,200mAh battery, which should give the phone a longer run between charges. To refill it, Vivo includes 44W wired fast charging through a USB Type-C port.

The software side is handled by OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, USB Type-C, and an IR blaster.

Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. That placement keeps unlocking quick and familiar for everyday use, matching the phone’s practical approach across the rest of the package.
