7,000mAh Power Meets A 120Hz Display, Oppo A6c Stays On 4G And 15W Charging

Oppo has widened the A6 family in India with a model aimed at buyers who care more about endurance and smooth scrolling than 5G support. The new Oppo A6c keeps the formula simple: a 7,000mAh battery, a 120 Hz display, and a price that stays within the affordable segment.

That positioning makes the phone stand out quickly, even though it also comes with clear trade-offs. Oppo is offering it as a more basic alternative to the Oppo A6 5G and Oppo A6s 5G, which means the A6 lineup now covers both 5G and 4G users.

Big battery, modest charging

The headline feature is the 7,000mAh battery, which is unusually large for a phone in this class. Oppo pairs it with 15W charging, so the battery capacity is the main advantage rather than fast refueling.

The size of the battery also affects the device itself. Oppo lists the phone at 166.5 x 78.2 x 9 mm and about 215 grams, which places it firmly in the heavier and thicker end of the affordable-phone range.

120 Hz display takes the spotlight

The other major selling point is the display. Oppo uses a 6.75-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The screen is also said to offer 700 nits HBM, a maximum touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, and a pixel density of 256 PPI. That combination suggests Oppo is targeting users who want a larger screen and smoother everyday interaction rather than a high-end panel.

4G-only hardware and two memory options

Under the hood, the Oppo A6c runs on the Unisoc T7250 chipset, which confirms its 4G-only positioning. It comes with 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM and storage options of up to 128 GB using UFS 2.2.

For India, Oppo is selling two memory configurations. The entry version includes 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, while the higher variant offers 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.

Cameras keep things simple

The camera setup is straightforward. On the back, the phone carries a 13 MP main camera, while the front uses a 5 MP selfie camera.

That hardware choice shows where Oppo has placed its priorities. The A6c is built around battery life, display smoothness, and everyday usability, not camera versatility.

Connectivity, security, and pricing

For connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking.

In India, the Oppo A6c 4G starts at Rs 13,999 for the 4 GB + 64 GB model. The 4 GB + 128 GB version is priced at Rs 16,999, and both are available through the official Oppo India store.

Oppo offers the phone in Stone Brown and Feather White. With the A6c, the company is clearly targeting shoppers who want a large battery and a 120 Hz screen without moving up to a 5G handset.
