That timing places the device outside the busy summer cycle that usually carries Samsung’s biggest announcements. It also suggests Samsung still sees room for a compact wearable focused on everyday activity tracking, even as smartwatches continue to dominate the category.
A separate launch window
Rumors surrounding the next Unpacked event point to July 22 in London. Galaxy Fit4, however, is not expected to appear there, which means Samsung appears to be holding the device back for a later introduction.
