Realme is preparing to push the midrange segment harder with the upcoming P4R, a phone built around endurance, speed, and a set of practical extras. The device is scheduled to launch in India on June 10 at 12 p.m. local time, and it is being positioned in the INR15,000-INR20,000 bracket.
The headline feature is the 8,000 mAh battery, which Realme says can deliver up to three days of use on a single charge. That claim gives the P4R a clear identity in a crowded class where battery life often matters as much as raw performance.
A battery-focused package
Realme is not relying on capacity alone. The P4R also supports 45W wired fast charging, 27W reverse wired charging, and all-scenario bypass charging for heavier use cases.
The company has also added One Tap Cooling. Realme says the feature can reduce device temperature by up to 2 degrees Celsius in two minutes, which should help during long gaming sessions or other demanding tasks.
Fast display, midrange chipset
Under the hood, the P4R uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. That places it firmly in the midrange, with an emphasis on balancing everyday efficiency and usable performance.
The display is another major selling point, with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Realme is also pairing the phone with a 5,300 mm² VC cooling system, suggesting that thermal management is part of the broader performance strategy.
The phone will ship with Realme UI 7.0 and up to 256GB of storage. Those details round out a configuration that leans on smooth screen performance and enough internal space for mainstream users.
Design and durability stay in focus
On the back, the Realme P4R uses a dual-camera setup led by a 50MP main camera. The secondary sensor has not been detailed, but the camera module is paired with a customizable AI Pulse Light.
That light supports nine colors and five speed levels, giving the phone a more expressive visual element. Realme is also keeping the body relatively slim at 8.8 mm, despite the large battery inside.
The phone will come in Silver Glare, Titanium Glare, and Lavender Glare. For a device with such a large battery, that finish and thickness combination suggests Realme is trying to avoid the bulky look often associated with long-life phones.
Durability is also part of the pitch, with MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance. In a segment where many buyers look for value first, those protections may help the P4R stand out as a more rugged option.
Realme has not revealed the full spec sheet yet, so more details may still emerge before the India launch. For now, the P4R is shaping up as a midrange phone that puts battery endurance, a fast display, and practical charging features at the center of the package.
