Galaxy Book 6 Pro Undercuts Samsung’s Own Store, Best Buy Seals the Better Deal

Best Buy is making Samsung’s Galaxy Book 6 Pro look more competitive by undercutting the company’s own online store in the US. The discount reaches as much as $150, and it applies to both the 14-inch and 16-inch models.

The pricing gap is especially notable because it hits higher-end configurations rather than entry-level versions. That gives shoppers looking for a premium Windows laptop a reason to compare Best Buy’s offer more closely before the deal changes.

Two premium configurations, two different savings

The 14-inch Galaxy Book 6 Pro with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD is now listed at $1,449.99 at Best Buy. Samsung’s official online store shows the same model at $1,549.99, which makes Best Buy $100 cheaper.

The larger 16-inch version gets an even bigger cut. Best Buy has it at $1,749.99, while Samsung’s own store lists it at $1,899.99.

Model Best Buy price Samsung online store price Difference
14-inch, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD $1,449.99 $1,549.99 $100
16-inch, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD $1,749.99 $1,899.99 $150

That spread matters because both options are already positioned as premium machines. Buyers are not looking at basic trims here, but at well-equipped models with more storage and memory.

A split between portability and screen space

The 14-inch model is the more portable choice for users who want a lighter laptop for travel or daily movement. The 16-inch version, by contrast, offers a larger display and more storage headroom for heavier workloads.

Even with those different use cases, both remain in the same premium Windows category. The current discount makes either size easier to justify on value alone.

Samsung’s updated design and hardware approach

Galaxy Book 6 Pro also brings a refreshed design compared with its predecessor. Samsung changed the keyboard and touchpad layout for a cleaner, more balanced look, and the bezels are thinner to give the laptop a slimmer overall feel.

Weight stays relatively restrained for the class. The 14-inch model comes in at about 2.73 lbs, while the 16-inch version weighs around 3.51 lbs.

Samsung also added a vapor chamber cooling system to the Pro line for the first time. The company says larger cooling fins help improve heat dissipation as well.

Modern performance and display features

Under the hood, the laptop uses the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor. It also supports AI features through Galaxy AI and Copilot+ PC.

Samsung has also upgraded the display with HDR brightness up to 1000 nits. That should help in bright environments and for users who spend time with visual work.

Battery life is another major part of the pitch. Samsung claims up to 30 hours of video playback, which gives the Galaxy Book 6 Pro a stronger mobility angle for people who move between locations often.

With Best Buy now pricing both sizes below Samsung’s own US online store, the Galaxy Book 6 Pro is suddenly a more aggressive option in the premium laptop segment. The combination of updated hardware, thinner design, vapor chamber cooling, and AI support gives the discount more weight while it remains available.
