Xiaomi’s New Ecosystem Debuts With 5x Telephoto Power and Lossless Audio Appeal

Xiaomi’s latest launch in Indonesia is not just about adding new devices to store shelves. The company is pushing a wider ecosystem strategy, pairing a new smartphone lineup with a smartwatch, a smart band, and true wireless earbuds designed to work together across daily routines.

The first sales wave began on 6 June 2026, when Xiaomi Indonesia opened initial availability for the Xiaomi 17T Series, Xiaomi Watch S5, Xiaomi Buds 6, and Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro. At the same time, the company rolled out launch promotions worth millions of rupiah to encourage early adoption across its official offline and online channels nationwide.

Telephoto zoom takes center stage

Among the four products, the Xiaomi 17T Series is the clearest headline maker. Xiaomi positions the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro as The Telephoto Master, built around a Leica 5x Telephoto lens aimed at distant subjects that still need sharp detail.

The camera package also includes 10x optical-grade zoom and 120x AI Ultra Zoom. Xiaomi says the series is also aimed at stage and concert documentation, while Leica Live Moment adds live photo creation with the visual style associated with Leica.

Wearables designed for everyday use

The ecosystem push extends beyond the phone. Xiaomi Watch S5 46mm comes with an ultra-thin stainless steel frame measuring 10.99 mm, a 1.48-inch AMOLED display, brightness up to 2,500 nits, an 815 mAh battery, and support for more than 150 sports modes.

Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro takes a more compact route. It features a 1.74-inch AMOLED display, a 60 Hz refresh rate, brightness up to 2,000 nits, support for more than 150 specific physical activities, and battery life of up to 21 days.

Audio with a light build

Xiaomi Buds 6 completes the lineup as a lightweight TWS option. Each earbud weighs 4.4 grams and the model offers Active Noise Cancellation up to 95 dB, Harman AudioEFX tuning, and Snapdragon Sound support for lossless audio quality.

That combination positions the earbuds for both work and entertainment. Xiaomi’s emphasis here is not only on convenience, but also on keeping audio quality in step with the rest of its connected devices.

Launch offers and after-sales support

The first-sale period for the Xiaomi 17T Series runs from 6 to 30 June 2026. Buyers at the start of the sales window can receive added value through free devices, trade-in cashback, installment options, and extended service support.

At physical stores on 6 June, buyers of the Xiaomi 17T Series are entitled to a free Xiaomi Air Purifier 4 Compact. Xiaomi also offers REDMI Headphones Neo worth Rp1,499,000, trade-in cashback of up to Rp1,500,000, and 0% installment plans.

The company is also bundling VIP service for the series. That package includes a 24-month quality warranty, 24 months of free pickup-and-return repair service, and a 6-month screen warranty.

Additional benefits include three months of Google AI Pro and four months of Spotify Premium Standard at no extra cost. With those incentives in place, Xiaomi is using the new ecosystem rollout to strengthen its presence in Indonesia through both online and offline sales.
