Logitech has introduced Mobi Fold in Indonesia, positioning it as the company’s first foldable mouse and a product built for people who work while moving. The device is aimed at professionals who want a mouse that is easier to carry than a conventional model.
The launch reflects a simple but overlooked habit in mobile work. Logitech’s internal data shows that 72 percent of professionals own a mouse, yet only 26 percent use it in public spaces.
A smaller form factor for travel-heavy routines
The core idea behind Mobi Fold is portability. Logitech says standard mice are often too large and inconvenient to bring outside the office or home, which leads many workers to leave them behind even when they would prefer to use one.
Joseph Mingori, VP and General Manager at Logitech, said the behavior has persisted for a long time. He noted that people often leave their mouse behind simply because carrying it is too much trouble.
Mobi Fold addresses that issue with a foldable body that reduces its size to nearly half of its normal form. When unfolded, the mouse powers on automatically, and it shuts off again when folded.
Features built around daily productivity
Beyond its compact design, Mobi Fold includes Adaptive Touch Scrolling and shortcut buttons through the Logi Options+ app. It also supports Bluetooth connections to up to three devices at once.
Logitech has also added quiet-click technology to keep operation more discreet. The result is a mouse designed not only for mobility, but also for productivity in different working environments.
Battery life, materials, and pricing
Logitech says the battery can last up to 30 days on a full charge. A one-minute charge is also said to provide up to 22 hours of use.
The mouse is made with recycled plastic and comes in Graphite and Off-White. Logitech is selling Mobi Fold at Rp 1.509.000.
