Motorola has turned the build-up to the FIFA World Cup 2026 into a smartphone showcase, releasing three special editions that carry a more festive look than their regular versions. The lineup is not officially available in Indonesia, but it has already attracted attention because of its limited theme and premium positioning.

The tournament will run from 11 June to 19 July 2026 across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Against that backdrop, Motorola’s special models are aimed at fans and collectors who want a device tied to one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

Edge 70 Fusion leans on a dark finish with gold accents

Among the three, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion FIFA World Cup 2026 edition is the most understated. It comes only in the pantone silhouette color and carries the FIFA World Cup 2026 logo on the lower back side.

The special logo is reported to use 24-karat gold material, while the phone also gets World Cup-themed wallpaper and ringtone. That combination gives the device a more exclusive feel without changing its core hardware identity.

On the specification side, the Edge 70 Fusion features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1272 x 2772 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also said to reach up to 5200 nits of brightness and use Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

The phone is powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, depending on the market variant. Its camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide camera with autofocus.

Motorola also includes a 32MP front camera, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP68, IP69, and MIL-STD 810H protection. Battery options are listed at 5200 mAh or 7000 mAh, with 68W charging through USB Type-C.

Razr 60 is the most colorful of the group

The second special model is the Motorola Razr 60, a themed version of the foldable phone that debuted in April 2025. This FIFA World Cup 2026 edition adds a custom logo on the outer side, along with World Cup wallpaper and ringtone.

Its biggest visual difference is the green and white color scheme inspired by a football pitch. Compared with the other two models, it looks noticeably brighter and more playful.

The Razr 60 uses a 6.9-inch AMOLED inner display with a 1080 x 2640 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3000 nits of brightness. On the outside, it carries a 3.6-inch AMOLED cover display with a 156 x 166 pixel resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 1700 nits of brightness.

Power comes from the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X. The camera system includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 32MP front camera.

The battery capacity is 4500 mAh, supported by 30W wired charging through USB Type-C and 15W wireless charging. Other features include stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the power button, and IP48 certification.

Razr Fold is the most premium and most powerful

The Razr Fold sits at the top of the special-edition trio and is positioned as Motorola’s most premium foldable in this World Cup lineup. Like the other two, it carries the FIFA World Cup 2026 logo and comes with dedicated wallpaper and ringtone.

Its design is darker, closer in tone to the Edge 70 Fusion, but the hardware clearly places it in a higher class. That is most obvious in the display size, brightness, and camera configuration.

The inner AMOLED display measures 8.1 inches and offers a 2232 x 2484 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 6200 nits of brightness. The outer AMOLED display measures 6.6 inches, with a 1080 x 2520 pixel resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and 6000 nits of brightness.

Motorola equips the Razr Fold with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Its camera array includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom.

The front camera uses a 32MP sensor. Battery support is also the strongest here, with a 6000 mAh battery, 80W wired charging through USB Type-C, and 50W wireless charging.

Prices and availability

Motorola has already started selling the three special-edition phones in many countries, although none of them are officially sold in Indonesia. That leaves local buyers only able to watch the World Cup-themed rollout from afar for now.

The prices vary sharply by model and storage option. The Edge 70 Fusion 8/256GB is listed at 420 euro, the Razr 60 8/256GB at 699.99 dollar AS, and the Razr Fold 16/512GB at 1,799.99 dollar AS.

Among the three, the Razr 60 is the easiest to recognize at a glance because of its brighter green-and-white finish. Still, all three are designed to bring a stronger FIFA World Cup 2026 identity to Motorola’s lineup.
