Safety is becoming the clearest selling point in the latest Ariston Andris 3 line, with IP24 protection now applied across every variant. For a home appliance that combines electricity and water, that upgrade matters more than cosmetic changes or extra convenience features.
The move marks a step up from the previous generation, which still carried IPX1 certification. For household users, the change is relevant because it offers better protection against water exposure and helps reduce the chance of electrical component disruption.
Four variants, four different use cases
Ariston positions Andris 3 for the Indonesian market and divides the lineup into four main variants: Andris 3 TOP WI-FI, Andris 3 LUX, Andris 3 RS, and Andris 3 R. Each one targets a different type of buyer, from users who want smart control to those who simply want a more affordable daily option.
At the top of the range is Andris 3 TOP WI-FI, which comes in 15-liter and 30-liter capacities. The model is aimed at users looking for advanced features and smart home compatibility.
With Wi-Fi Connectivity, the water heater can be controlled through the Ariston NET app. It also includes Voice Control, Auto Safety Check that can inspect the device in seconds, a Titanium Heating Element, and an LED Safety Indicator.
Efficiency takes the lead on the LUX variant
Andris 3 LUX is the premium choice for buyers who prioritize energy efficiency. Like the flagship model, it is offered in 15-liter and 30-liter versions.
Its main highlight is ECO EVO Technology, which studies hot-water usage patterns over seven days. The system works with Auto Power Off to help reduce electricity consumption.
The LUX variant also adds AG+ Silver Protection to help maintain hygienic water quality. Other features include an Enamel Heating Element and a Touch Display designed for a more modern user experience.
Balanced middle-ground and entry-level choices
For users who want a more even balance between price and features, Ariston offers Andris 3 RS. The model is also sold in 15-liter and 30-liter capacities.
Andris 3 RS uses Mechanical Knob Control for simple operation and includes a Heating Indicator Light to show when water is being heated. It is equipped with a Copper Heating Element and is described as modern and compact for household use.
The most economical option is Andris 3 R, which is available in 10-liter, 15-liter, and 30-liter capacities. Even at the entry level, the model keeps essential daily-use protection in place.
Protection features across the lineup
All Andris 3 variants include a Safety Valve 0.8 MPa, which works as a pressure-control safety valve inside the tank. The component helps release water at a safe limit and supports stable heating performance while reducing the risk of damage from excessive pressure.
Another standard protection is the ELCB cable, or Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker, which automatically cuts off electricity when leakage current is detected. That mechanism is designed to reduce the risk of electric shock by acting before a dangerous situation develops.
Andris 3 R also includes Mechanical Knob Control, Scalding Prevention to help avoid overly hot water, and a Titanium Enamel Tank for durability. On certain models, Ariston adds AG+ Antibacterial Protection, showing that even the most affordable variant still receives attention on basic comfort and protection.
How the lineup is positioned
Ariston’s strategy is clear: the TOP WI-FI variant serves users who want the most connected experience, while LUX is built for households that place energy savings near the top of the list. RS sits in the middle as the practical option, and R is aimed at buyers who want to control spending without losing standard safety coverage.
That structure gives the Andris 3 family a wider reach than a single one-size-fits-all product could offer. Instead of competing only on tank size, the lineup separates itself through features, controls, and the level of convenience each model brings to daily use.
With IP24 now standard across the series, the newest Andris 3 range makes safety its strongest common message before buyers even begin comparing the individual variants.
